The next restock of R400 will be due end of this year. However, we just restock some popular sizes on R400H, the 4th year anniversary hemp+cotton version.

Ok, thanks. I'll keep an eye out!

Does the hemp blend cause any major differences in the fabric or the feel?

  2. What I was wondering is if the selvedge was from Cone or if it is from a prefecture in Japan(since it says Japan raw selvedge) and yea I'm totally stoked about the righteous honeycomb potential myself.

I'm not sure. I want to say the salesman (at Levi's Meatpacking in NYC) said that it was japanese denim, but it was never clear which mill it came from.

My first pair of raw denim was from that line, and they did fade pretty well, so I too can attest to that attribute ;)

  3. anyone recognize these jeans? Or know where I could get the specifics. Where the denim is from, the weight of the denim, where they were made, etc.

Also while I'm here, those appear to be from Levi's now-discontinued Selvage Goods line (at least the jeans in the pictures).

It also looks like this particular model is known for their AMAZING HONEY COMB FADES!!! ;)

Comparing the chainstitch to the single needle, the chainstitched hem roping has so much more depth to it. Personally, I think roping on chainstitch hems looks better than single needle roping.

  5. Thanks man! Chris they ran a small run about 6-800 yards but never went into a full production run which is usually at least 4000 yards. Unfortunately, they haven't been doing much development since White Oak is at full capacity and running the basic 12.5 oz staple all day long, so it was nice to get a hold of some  more unique fabrics from them.  They did come out with a beefier 15 oz which I have currently in sewing. Should be inhouse in about 2 weeks.

Ah, cool. Always nice to be part of something small like that. I assume the 15oz uses the same weft threads?

  6. Ohh okok I didn't know that cause I just bought mine. Red is very cool though.

I'm not entirely sure, but I thought I saw something on the original blue owl post announcing the 21oz that the samples all had red lines
