Like the fit, not so sure about the hair
hey A.khan,
i am sure he is looking for advice.. on his jeans, right..
he didn't ask you about his @#$% haircut,
this is simply an IH forum..
fit looks good on him...
leave the jokers and slyness to the trash..

hello forum..
i need some help please..
can anyone recommend an amazing leather repair service please for my Visvim Elmdorft A-2 styled horsehide jacket.
i spoke to Visvim Japan, and with the repair and shipping it will surly come close to a $500 USD expense, so i am hopping for a domestic.
anything in NYC by any chance?
my jacket has a hand-warmer style pocket, there is a reinforced stitching that has broken at the left jacket pocket and needs to get restitched, but under the lining:
there is a nasty ripe in fabric tube at the right arm sleeve that is continuing to get worse, so i would love to have this replaced:
thanks again for any time or help.
my best

Denim,
question,
Do you like the close trim on your Whites?
i have my next pair ordered that way with a single leather sole and mini lug, hopping to make them look less wide, on my shorter and slim fits.

Morse your SJ are so good,
real wear there on those boots.
love them...
can i ask, is that a close single thread trim you have on them??

the longer I've been a part of this community, the more crass I got. i'm nothing like that irl, it's just people take this site way too seriously.
Goominim
there are plenty of other forums on SuFu for you to go be crass and and get appreciation and maybe even rep for.
But please, just let us boot heads be serious and keep this forum for those who really geek out and contribute to it.

thank you coleslawyum...
yes i believe i saw them as well in the Tokyo Real McCoys shop like 2 years ago just looking beautiful as well.
i assume there is nowhere in NYC area to really see a Wesco, Viberg or Buco...
it really sucks having to shot blind every time i want to get a high quality boot living in this city.

thank you again rayw44,
all good info taken

thank you rayw44!
this a great start for me..
if you could only have one of your,
wesco or viberge, which one would you keep?
being i have never worn an engineer type of boot before, and used to support from lace up boots, do you expect more natural heel slipping, or size down from your TTS?
thanks again..

Question for my engineer boot heads...
as i have been drooling all over MB's fantastic
vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com
if i want to own a great pair of new black engineer boots.
very up to craft.
what would be some suggestions?
i am currently considering:
-Wesco Boss
-RM Buco Horsehide
price aside,
is new Redwing really worth looking into?
i just think lesser of them nowadays compared to other boot manufactures.
thanks for the help..

Coleslawyum,
yup i had a Whites order made up with Ultrasound,
they are fantastic customer services.., really tried to accommodate all the small details, i highly recommend them.
Unfortunately they could not source the same Horsehide that some Japanese vendors are able to get with Whites, and so i did not go throughout with the order.
i ended up ordering direct from Whites a new pair of Black Chromexcel Bountyhunters about 4 weeks ago, so hopefully see them by the end of this month.
