Hey Roger.  Of course you can stop by.  We've got a busy day tomorrow.  Doing some shooting for the new denim and stuff, but should be a fun day.

 

The sweater is a vintage Cowichan that Christian gave me a couple months ago.  Too big for him (and me too), but it has a great Lightening zipper and love how heavy it is.

Alright guys.  Just snapped a couple pictures of my sweats.  1 wash.  Don't mean to talk trash but you guys are lucky I'm not in the running, because I think I'm gonna wear these things every day this year.

 

 

 

 

Got some roping on the chain stitched hem and even some train tracks showing up.  Sweats are fun - instant fade compared to denim.

Wow.  Nice pictures Satchel.  Love that stripe tee - very tough to photograph.

 

My indigo sweats made it down to DC for opening weekend of the Nationals.  I'm a big Braves fan so I always try to catch any games that are reasonably close to NY.  I'll try to post some pictures of my sweats this week.  I feel like a roadtrip is always a good way to get some progress going.

What kind of shrinkage, if any, is expected with the new t's? Large looks perfect measurement wise if they don't shrink a ton.

 

Hey Beetus - the tees are unwashed out of the bag, but will shrink to within 3% of those listed measurements with a wash so you should be good to go.  

When will the packs of shirts go to stockists, or will they? Want to avoid fed ex again by going into local store and grabbing.

oof, that is some heavy stuff! I've shot some stuff on my parent's old FM3 with a 50mm 1.8, my film favorites were tri-x and that kodak 200 stuff. Typical CVS stuff, but it's fun. I'd love to get a modern film camera if the opportunity ever presents itself.

 

Also, Left Field related, I just saw a guy wearing Chelseas in my college cafeteria. I've also seen a guy wearing that tweed fill stuff from a few years back.

 

Before my time - but my guess is from when LF sold to Need Supply.  It's always cool to see an order come in from Richmond since I always thought no one had any idea about Superfuture stuff.

What inseam length on the shorts? And what fabrics?

 

Hey Brian.  The shorts inseam length is graded by size, but new for this season we will be offering two different short fits.

 

Our Angus Young short is a classic slim fit with right above the knee inseam made of Japanese twill.  New for the spring we'll also be offering the Magnum PI short which is a 70/30 cotton nylon in a shorter inseam.  They're meant to be a versatile go-to for summer.  You can wear them to the beach, hiking, bar or whatever you want.

 

The Angus Young will be available in black, navy, olive drab, wine, khaki, teal, and camo.  The Magnum PI will be available in black and French navy.

That's pretty sweet.

 

I meant to ask Christian this yesterday, do you guys have any shorts in the works? And when do you expect to release the Candiani and Kaihara denim?

Hey Jake - we'd love to have you stop by.  Our hours are generally 11-7 M-F.  Just shoot us an email to confirm and let us know you're from Sufu.  We're not too strict about the appointments, but just like to make sure everything is cleaned up and that peoples appointments don't overlap.

@formulaPfaff thanks man! Great pics and such a cool idea with the gifs. I’m gonna have to get you to take some good fit pics for me this weekend! I think I might wash them before then. That should bring the waist in. I might be able to squeeze a little more length out of them.

@pepper drawstring has been working great, and I’m definitely happy to keep wearing them that way. I think a hot soak up top should shrink it some though. Great looking pup too!!!

@jyoni haha I was for sure just kidding. I got some fun activities planned for them and if it keeps staying this cold I should have plenty of time wearing them for the fades! How’s the festool stuff? I’ve only looked at any of it briefly, worth spending the extra dough for a hobbyist?

Yeah pick it up through Satchel.  Believe we sold the last M a week or so ago.  Not going to be rerun in that exact fabric as we'd like to be able to run new stuff continuously (and there's some cool stuff in the pipes).  I missed the dobby stripe in my size 

 

 

Oh also - shipping prices are calculated rate so that's exactly what it costs from Fedex.  Glad it's affordable!
