I have recently lost a bit of weight and can now fit into these again! They were the first pair of selvedge denim jeans i ever bought LVC 1947 501's. Sorry about the crap picture.

Does anyone have any good wear and tear shots of the Tellason coverall jacket? I am really gassing after one at the moment. I may well go up to son of a stag later on in the month and pick one up!!

Did a soak, can do the top button, just. Can I expect much stretch ?

Yeah, they will give a bit mate, don't worry. Its best to get the shrinkage out as soon as possible really! I'm sure they will become very comfortable over the next couple of weeks.

Washed these last night so here is an update!...

Mate, i use leatherique leather conditioner and it gets rid of just about any indigo on leather, it may be worth a go. Also I know voyej recommend using lemon!

I had to do some gardening today so these got pretty filthy, I will be washing them a bit later on tonight if I don't drink too much and pass out!!

...And now waiting for the wash, from L to R, 5.11 taclite pants, Samurai work shirt, LVC 1901's and the filthy Samurai S710XX...

I'm sure its been asked before, but how do you pronounce "Nudie"? I always pronounced it "Nuh-Dee" but I have a feeling it is meant to be pronounced Noo-Dee!!

This is probably also the reason that black boots were more popular in the past, people didn't want their new boots looking old too fast!?!

Thanks maynard, I have been browsing that thread, I would probably go in for some ooe's but their website leaves a lot to be desired so I would be ordering blind (if you know what I mean) plus I know where to get samurai's from and not have to worry about import tax!;-)

Hey erk, thanks for the advice mate, I keep hearing things like this about LVC lately!! I have the 47's and the 55's so was looking for something a little different this time and I do like the vintage vibe! I may have to consider the samurai S3000 now, I always did like the way b__f rocked those, they look like a good cut.

Does anyone have any pics of really well worn S501XX? I've really been GASing after a pair recently!
