  1. Trust me, i begged them to continue making the old ones and i'm the biggest BR dealer outside of Japan, no dice.

i got sutocorp to buy me possibly the last remaining gray in medium on the island.

  2. Kiya, can you or anyone else here point me to some better pix of Buzz jeans than what is on HPA's site? Looking for model 1942 M43019N. Size 38 SC 66s and 47s are big on me but I think the waist on the size 36 would be too small. HPA says they can get in the size 37 Buzz jeans, but I'm not finding much of anything about them on the net.

Are they made by Sugar Cane for Buzz or is it exclusive?

  3. Basically that's a "no".

Keep hope alive, man. There's a reason why it didn't take long to sell out at every dealer. They need to just make both versions for the vintage fit crowd.

  4. Toyo Enterprises e-mailed me back. Sounds promising after they get rid of the current production.

Thank you for your inquiry and interests to our products.

Unfortunately we are not sure if we make M65622 again or not at the moment that the new type BR65622 has been released recently.

Moreover M63866 is already all sold out. Sorry.

  5. goominim, I'll try to mail you pics and measurements of my grey m old style buzz tomorrow if you're interested.

Thanks, but I want a new, unwashed one. Appreciate it though.

  6. I just e-mailed Toyo if they had any more M63866 sweatshirts. Hopefully they'll remake them in the future. The new length goes by the BR65622 number. Not that they read their e-mail or anything. :P

  7. My new pair is 31X34. Remember, Canes shrink to tagged size.

The tags say 34, but they measure to 35 … well at least when I convert centimeters to inches. Which, after shrinkage, will get you around 32 inches.

  8. ^ as a person that owns both LVC 47 and SC47 I gotta say I love my SC47 way more. Trumps my LVC in quality and construction, but also fits me much better. The LVC 47s are almost slim straights and I can't even get my thighs in em anymore.

I hear that it's cheaper to order directly from Japan. Do you have any advice as to how and where? I'm going to order type i 1947 no-wash in size 29 which is 29.9 inches measured.

  9. Thanks goominm! The tag says SC41947. I'm guessing type I. They were one wash, and still stiff as boards.

I think I'm going to give up on LVC and buy those. The quality and fit is bang on vintage.

  10. I have a grey m old style buzz for sale, worn less than 10 times and washed twice, good condition. I also have a brand new unworn blue in a m for sale. Let me know if you're interested.

Can you post measurements of both?
