^^wouldnt putting it in a dryer create weird creases? im scared to do that when i get my 2109s... but mind posting up pics?
I always thought/heard that putting them through the dryer was bad... idk though. Air drying always sufficed for me.

Here for grad school? Or undergrad? Which school and area are you living in? These things tailor my response to your cheap question "what's good?"
Undergrad. Berklee College of Music, living in the Allston area! I'm a young un'.

Vacationing in the area and I stopped by and picked up a Utility Bifold wallet in natural. Awesome quality, which is definitely the norm for all Tanner Goods products.
Was going to post pics of my new wallet and my year old+ 13oz tanner good belt, but I just realized I forgot my camera cable for my computer. lol.
Oh, and cheers to the cute female employee!

just bought a pair of flat heads from self edge recently, pretty excited to start wearing them. but not sure if I got the right size. I'm a 29 in APC's and I bought a size 32. My true waist size is around a 30.5. I tried the 31 in store and it fit perfectly on my waist. Not sure if I should size down 1 to a 31 or not. I want to have a slim fit rather than a relaxed fit. and it seems like these jeans look a bit too baggy. should i keep these or size down 1 to a 31?
Well normally you go true to size when you buy Flat Head. Or at least that's what I did and they fit perfectly. I think I'd size down to 31 if I were you.

Cross-post from Flat Head thread.
SExFHxRJB15 - 3.5 weeks, 1 pre-soak.
Finally got around to taking some fit pics, meant to take them earlier. Love the fit on these, very similar to my SG1105's but slightly slimmer in knees and up.

Little late in the posting the post-wash fit pics, but here they are. Sorry, not-so-perfect lighting. Needa bring em into Self Edge soon for a few repairs, specifically in the back pockets and a bunch of other holes..
SG1105, size 28. 1 year. 2 washes, 1 pre-soak.

Need some opinions on this presoak fit on this pair of SExFHxRJB15. I cant decide if i should size up or go ahead and soak these. Excuse the dirty mirror and awkward pictures.
Well it's based on your own preference. If you like the fit right now and wouldn't mind a bit of slimming up, then just keep them. IMO, it's more about how you personally like the feel and fit of the jeans rather than the look itself. The same reason why some prefer baggier or more fitted jeans.

Whoa nice, thanks for the quick reply! Definitely looks worth it then. Bifold it is!

I'm looking at getting either the cardholder or bifold wallet, but my main concern is the thickness.. I don't like sitting down with a huge wallet in my back pocket, lol. So which one do you guys think is thinner or at least more comfortable to keep in your back pocket?

I thought we were going to see some evo pics of other people's strike golds? Just hit 8 months for me. Turning out awesome, but I want to see how other people's are coming along!
Btw, the brown weft Strike Golds look epic!!!

P-Oak, how much shrinking did u get after the wash, i did two hot soaks but i felt like i saw the most shrinking after a cold wash hang dry?
Umm, I didn't measure how much it shrunk after I washed it, but overall I couldn't tell a difference in the feel of the fit after I washed it if that helps. If anything, there was a very subtle feeling of it being a bit more fitted.

looks good oak!
I was wondering whats the consensus on sizing with the 1105? I'm around a 29.5 waist, should I get the 29 or 30? I'm leaning towards the 29 because I was a smaller leg opening. Also whats the max shrinkage you have gotten on the leg opening on the 1105?
On the size 28, it was 7.4" leg opening then after I gave it a (hot) pre-soak I think it ended up around 7.1" or 7.0". I didn't check after the first real wash but I'm assuming it's around .4"-.5" of total shrinkage in the leg opening.

Yes I believe so. Levi has cease and desist on all red tabs (I think), but Strike Golds are originally made with the red tabs in Japan. So when they are shipped here they are taken off and left in the knife pocket.
Someone please confirm that, lol. Mine had the tab in the pocket.

As I remember, Giles basically said IH would keep making them as long as people keep buying them. I think he's already done a second order, based on demand from the initial run.
Beatle would know better than I do, of course.
Alright awesome thanks! I really want to pick up some BBs in overdyed when they come out, but I have no money right now. lol. And I wanted to sufficiently wear my Strike Golds before moving onto any others.
