  1. I understand being disappointed-absolutely-but the positive remains that the hats are completed and are ready to ship now. ( The reality is that, given no one checked in on the progress of the order prior to recently, it's a plus an order was put through to begin with. I mean, seriously, dude's a considerate scammer.)  All it will take is another small payment and, at the very least, you'll have your hat while you wait out the conclusion to the supposed fraud.

So 70 bucks for a standford hat? Fuck outta here

  2. Beat me by a bit ^ I contacted the same dude through custom orders and he told me I was the second guy to contact him and that he referred me over to Lisa, but I guess I'll just let you handle it

Also he's been off for ~ 2 days now, so he's either logged off and high tailed it or he's gonna make up some bull shit excuse like SURPRISE TRIP TO HAWAII to explain why he's late with the payment. Most probably the former though. 45 ordered X 36 bucks = $1620 so that's a fat check he made off with I guess. Can you get arrested for this shit? I'm assuming no...

  3. Anyone willing to look over my resume for me? Recently took off my GPA and I stopped even receiving interview opportunities so I guess I should re-include it. Apparently some people have told me my resume is weak but they didn't offer much feedback. Dunno ... I'm two months out of my undergrad with no prospect of work

  4. i don't understand the pricing argument that was mentioned. anything "exclusive" gets beasted on anytime there is excessive demand over it. "kids" pay $500+ for pyrex vision flannels that are printed on polo blanks. nothing is safe or sacred anymore.

in a more relevant example, rocky name drops raf simons in his song, and copycat "kids" beast over raf simons shit now.

the fact that a raf simons ma-1 from 2000 sold for $2,250 on ebay recently is mind boggling. this shit would have never happened 3+ years ago

Well then I guess I've gravely underestimated the amount of money that some fans have at their disposal (or rather the size of mommy/daddy's wallets). I always figured the maximum of their copping abilities amounted to maybe a $200 supleme camp. But still, until Rocky namedrops Acronym, things should be relatively okay. And even if he does, I don't think all the hypebeasts will jump on the acronym wagon. It's not like a huge chunk of the population has thousands to drop on clothes that their favorite rapper namedrops. If acronym gets maybe another dozen or so well-off customers (albeit misinformed and buying it for the wrong reason) it really isn't going to kill the brand.

  5. This thread turned into a joke really fast. Given the price point, do y'all really think that these ASAP Rocky fans are gonna go out and buy a single jacket they saw him wearing once? They probably thought it was The North Face with the label removed or some shit if they bothered to even give the jacket he was wearing a second thought. I don't get why you guys are freaking out in the slightest. The kids that listen to ASAP Rocky would never be able to afford ACR, nor would they really care to cop it. Could we please get back to the regular programming now?
