Thanks guys! . Madstaxbro, that's right! I bought a size up so that I could fit insoles ( they're really uncomfortable without them). Big Truck - that's what I love too! Photos don't do them justice, it's amazing how the colour varies with creasing & light!

TPR950H, I climb a lot, and all my shoes have been uncomfortably tight in order to edge & get toeholds. I suspect that if you can wiggle your toes, they're too big...

I just got back from vacation, so I thought I would contribute something finally! Thanks to riff, fabgeek & lax for their tips and suggestions! And all comments/criticisms welcome!

I just got back from vacation - and here is what I pretty much wore the whole time! More shots in the "what are your jeans doing today" thread!

You can see and hear the loons all the time, but it sounds especially nice at night, when the lake is quiet!

Yes, there is denim here! I pretty much wore my IH everyday, except while swimming!

Jumping seems to be all the rage in the waywt posts! But I like to do my own thing - I only jump if there's a thrill to be had: skydiving, bungee jumping…. Or high cliffs and deep water!!

We actually went further to higher spots, but the photos of me didn't come out to well!

It's so hard to capture the beauty of this place, but here is my go at it! I hope you all enjoyed the pics!

Monster post alert! I just got back from 2 weeks of vacation - a day early to avoid all the crazy traffic tomorrow! And I have a ton of photos to share!!

A big thank you to riff, fabgeek and especially laxlife, for being so generous in sharing their photo tips & knowledge!

We were vacationing with family friends - we kids all grew up together, and they have a cottage northwest of Ottawa, near Algonquin park. It's well populated but still pretty wild.

The cottage life!

There's no end of fun things to do! Swimming, hiking, mountain biking, boating, kayaking, and of course - tubing!

That's me - trying to not swallow the whole lake!

By this time of the year, the water does start to get colder, and the evenings can be pretty chilly. I still couldn't resist going for a paddle the evening we got there! So pretty!

One of my favourite times of day is early in the morning. The power boaters are still sleeping off the drinking, the water is very still, and there's a beautiful mist everywhere!

The evenings are always fun too - campfires & smores!!!

We had gorgeous weather the whole way through, except for today when it got rainy (another good reason to leave early)

We weren't the only ones enjoying the weather!

The dragonflies are amazingly beautiful - and they eat mosquitos - yay! My photo doesn't do him justice!

I got super-lucky this weekend... I spotted these on craigslist & bought them as fast as I could get over there! Such a steal!!!

I'm in love with the colour 8!!! So amazing how it changes with the creasing & under different light!

They have a few scratches - apparently they belonged to this woman's son, who outgrew them - not much of a market for a men's size 7 I guess!
