Good Golly. What the heck are you doing in these (aside from drinking whiskey)? Skating?
Biking in the rain/snow, accidents ensue. Someday I'll take and post pics of the bloodstains on the jacket 21oz really does offer abrasion protection!

Tellason makes some of their jeans with Cone Mills Denim.
The Big John anniversary edition also uses Cone (as found via coneblog.)

That's funny, I also have slightly more leg twist on the left side. Has anyone seriously scuffed their jeans yet? my knees look striped! (pics in a bit)

Holy shit... that's amazingly fast fading. I may just have to get me a pair of these... You can definitely tell their an overdye if you cuff and show the weft/selvedge.
Those look awesome! can you get us a shot of the selvedge close up?

Al's Attire is AMAZING. It's tucked into a little neighborhood in northbeach, but it is seriously worth a stop. They have extremely pretty stock items in there, but they will do WHATEVER you want.

Dchill & Beatle you right guys. I'm half between the M and the L and it sucks so much.
Chest & shoulder are alright. L would be too large. Well, i think i'm gonna send it back to the shop.
anyway, thank you for the support guys
If only this was the SExIH07 overdyed I would offer to trade you:rolleyes: I've got a size 44 and its just a touch too big in the chest for me, but looks like it would fit you better.... alas!

my 501 STF Retirees, both made in columbia (w/ waistband tag), soaked and linedried to shrink.
Pair on the left worn for 2 years or so, washed at least 4 times. Pair on the right subsequently purchased (a size smaller) and worked hard in for a year and a half with maybe 2 washes. The knees sure have a way of going on you... Will post better pics when I get a chance to take them.

(TIMEWARP repost)
Hi Guys! Went Born Tuff, Texas Tuxedo style... Indigo bottoms, III/o.d. black top. Approximately 3-4 weeks of wear on the pants and they are definitely fading faster than I thought they would. Appx. no wear on the jacket, will update when things begin changing. (Jacket sized a bit bigger than would be absolutely ideal but its been great layering with this blizzard in the northeast.)
ensemble:
Fading anywhere the material is layered, even the selvedge line:
Wallet/Knife starting to silhouette:
Fit Pics:
planning to treat the label w/ something soon as per beatle's awesome sheen...

Made in the USA

Not all Carharrts sold in the US are made in the US. There are some outlets which only stock USA union-made clothes, however. [source]
Also, Tellason jeans are made of Cone denim in NC, then cut and sewn in SF.
Word to WESCO boots. I have coveted a pair for a long time. Forever-Boots.
I think all of the Woolen Mills stuff from Woolrich is made in the US.
Also Crescent Down Works...
This thread necessitates a shout-out to the UNIONMADE store in SF. Though not everything in the store is USA-manufactured, a whole heap of it is, and they are the sweetest guys ever.
Oh, and if you need a knife, Benchmade or Chris Reeve's Sebenzas are hard to beat.
