I like the numerals on the SRP031; they remind me of numerals on the Sinn 656 (my grail watch).
Too bad the 656 has increased in price by practically 50% in the past half-decade.

Just to be clear here - by 'runs bigger', you mean in terms of tagged size to actual measurements, right? Because the 'slim guy' is basically a straight cut. The weird is a tapered fit, and the skinny is... yeah, don't get the skinny

What's the inseam on the 24oz? In fact, are there BiG-style measurements available anywhere? And do any online retailers sell these yet?

Incidentially, for colour reference, since my cellphone camera is utter crap: The red blanket in the background is a scarlet HBC Point Blanket:

Hello folks,
I have a peacoat for sale. It's a Weatherman brand coat, made in Canada by Mac-Mor.
Mac-Mor made coats in Canada for over 60 years. Unfortunately, in 2008, under financial pressure, the company moved much of its manufacturing overseas. They never really recovered. They shuttered the business completely last year. This coat, purchased in 2002 at Hudson's Bay in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, was one of the coats made in Canada. It still has the made-in-Canada tag on the inside of the collar.
I've been wearing it pretty regularly since purchasing it. The condition is consistent with it being a daily wearer in cold/long Canadian winters, and the deep black has faded a bit over the past 6 years. I have made two scrappy home-made repairs, neither of which are visible when wearing it. One was for a small tear (about an inch long) on the inside of the collar near the tag, and the other was for a hole in the upper right pocket.
It is surprisingly soft and light for how warm it is. The outer material is a wool melton made of 70% wool, 20% nylon and 10% cashmere. It is double-breasted, with six buttons (with a naval anchor motif on them). The coat has two slash pockets and two flap pockets.
The tagged size is a 40 regular.
Measurements:
Back length (bottom of collar to back hem): 36"
Sleeve length (center of back, over shoulder, to end of cuff): ~35.5"
Width (armpit to armpit, across the back): 25.5"
If you need additional measurements, don't hesitate to ask in a PM.
I am getting rid of this only because I just got a Gloverall duffle coat.
I am looking for $45 incl. shipping to Canada or the US, or best offer, send me a PM.
Some cellphone shots:
And the technical drawings from the manufacturer:

An old, somewhat beat up pair of Campers, from when they used to be made in Spain (before they started producing in Morocco.)

Love the last one - I think the domed sapphire is great. I'd robocop if I didn't already have a massive pile of watches

I have an automatic mondaine. It is definitely a smoother sweep than the quartz - at 28800 BPH, you *almost* can't see the 'tick'.
As for the jumping minutes, you *can* find watches with that complication - but it's associated with horrifyingly expensive watches. And I can't think of one with that feature and a crisp Bauhaus-inspired design.

I'm actually digging the fit, but the colour's a bit close to your jeans. Danger of rocking the Canadian Tuxedo

Quick show of hands: How terrible would these look with red laces?
Edit: Reason I ask is that I have had a pair of Dunes since like 2002. They are really practical, but unforgivably ugly. I am trying to figure out if some new laces would help the situation.

For roughly the same price (about $10 cheaper, depending where you live), you can get a Mondaine (in either black or white). It's not quite as stark, but I prefer a watch that has lugs.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=selvedge+chinos
kidding, kidding. for me, the problem is that there are a number of places that make selvedge chinos - but the fabric isn't heavyweight, i don't like the cut / fit, the inseam is super short, etc.
oboy, are those RRLs still being made? any online retailers? is there a model name/number?
