For those of you who asked about my "I Don't" T-shirt, I

shoreman, LOL, I realize that my horsemeat discussion must have gotten lost in translation. My point was : Since many of us (including me) justify wearing leather stuff by rationalizing that we eat the animal's flesh for food first, that logic doesn't play out. Nobody hates ocelots or horses or cows or rabbits, do they ? Does everyone that wears Aero horsehide jackets enjoy eating a plate of horsemeat ? I seriously doubt it. So that poor fool who wore the ocelot and leather jacket deserves no more criticism than those of us who wear horsehide shoes and leathers but don't eat horsemeat. Personally, I don't know any human horsemeat connoisseurs
but I'm sure they exist -- and such folks are more morally justified in wearing horsehide, for instance, than I am. Now, please...don't misconstrue my message as being "go cook up a plate of ocelots for supper". That's not my intent at all ! My point is...there's some hypocrisy in criticizing that ocelot jacket wearing fellow. Ocelots invoke much pity, because they are awfully cute...but so are horsies !

MrHaGa, that coat made me sad too. But at times I
feel like a hypocrite because I do like fine leathers and I'm
a voracious meat eater (no horsemeat, though).
It's kinda difficult to know where
to draw the line, ya know ? I mean, I'd rather throw
up than eat horsemeat, so is it really fair for me
to wear horsehide ? Hence, I can also see
almostnice's point of view.
Anyway. Off to work today, yes on a weekend. Point of note:
I'm not a big Windows OS fan (I love Linux) but I will choose
Windows any day over a Mac (no disrespect Steve Jobs. Love you
still).

Pomata, your little munchkin Alberto ?? is breaking
my heart. Seriously. It's not possible in this universe for any
object to be that cute.

Big Eyed Fish you're a man after my own heart.
Love your look. Especially LOVE THOSE BOOTS.
As people know by now, I'm sort of a hiking boot addict.
Actually, I don't understand why hiking boots can't
be used interchangeably with work boots. Hikers
seem far more versatile to me, and IMHO -- they
always look great with denim ! almostnice always
looks spectacular in his fits, and Red Wings are simply
made for him. Red Wing, Wesco,
White's, Viberg etc.. work boots are gorgeous indeed but I don't
see the work boot genre tackling Mt. Whitney or similarly
craggy terrain, I'm sorry. On the flip side, hiking boots
these days are very comfortable, and
unless I'm missing something -- they can be used
in any vocation, hiking or welding or building shit,
walking around...whatevs.

Max Power, did you buy the belt from BIG ? The reason I ask is because at least with my belt (same as yours except rattlesnake version) had a warning on BIG's website, stating that the belt runs a bit small. It worked to my favor...I've always felt sz-32 Men's belts a bit awkwardly too long on me. But why can't you return the belt ? You can attempt to sell it on SuFu Marketplace...I'm sure you can sell it for $150-200. I know it's a loss but at least you will end up with a belt that fits you perfectly.

Yeah, so I ended up dropping off my vintage eBay-bought
Danners and Vasques on the stoop of the local Goodwill.
I had to admit to myself that I wasn't thrilled about them.
I'm sure there's lots of nice Vintage shoes out there but
modern technology has really improved shoes (made
them more comfortable, better fitting, and lighter). I've never
been happy with pre-owned purchases off of eBay...
SuFu is different though -- I've been very happy with
stuff (denim) I've bought off of SuFu Marketplace.
I ended up buying 2 pair of hiking boots brand-new
off of Amazon, Vasque (owned by Red Wing,
made in the USA) and Zamberlan (made in Italy) .
FYI amazon.com in the US has a great sale going
on hiking boots -- at least 20% off on many models !
Off to work !

I've noticed that the Europeans and Canadians are donning their
winter overcoats and sweaters already. It's a bit too early for that in
Northern California. I actually love this time of year...moderately
warm but sunny. And yes, roy6, you're quite the looker.

Sarah Style is very HOT. She's a walking ad-campaign for FH jeans on women.

Alexx1976, love the hoodie under the IH Superblack. I saw LandoCal126 do that the first time and
it looked super-cool. IH gear looks really good on you.

I tried to go IH, but then I came to my senses. Samurai 4eva:cool:
Hallelujah ! I don't think I'll be buying IH again either. I have enough...don't need anymore.

Rest In Peace Steve Jobs. Pic below of Steve and Woz as
young men -- Steve in his typical Levi 501 jeans. Simple, modest,
and unassuming, but Steve looks more attractive than most of
us who post pics of ourselves regularly on SuFu in our $400++ jeans
and $1000 head-to-toe outfits (I am no exception).

Hi All. Hope life finds you well.
I bought the boots I'm wearing (Vintage leather Vasque hikers --
made in Italy) on eBay for a mere $30 (includes S&H).
I LOVE THEM ! I also bought a beautiful pair of vintage
Danner hikers ($60, includes S&H) on eBay, which you'll
see soon in WAYWT (Jeans). I'll try and post closeups of
both my Vasque and Danners in the boots section soon.
The modern version of these Vasques
I'm wearing are called "Sundowner" -- unfortunately
made in China I think -- but good quality nevertheless,
but I love the vintage look so much more.
Vasque is owned by Red Wing actually.
I've explained before that I'm not a work boot person...I feel
odd wearing things that don't fit my lifestyle. I justify heavy
denim only because I'm prone to feeling cold most of the time.

entropy kid...I love rivertowns. In fact, I live in one (American River). What town is yours? Looks beautiful.

BTW, those ah_long, Sz31, S510XX-24OZ ? I just hot washed them and threw them in the dryer. They shrunk up CONSIDERABLY and look a lot better. I know that they were a bit baggy in that photo. Now they are perfecto.

shoreman, I can never tell when people are joking on this forum. You're joking about alexx1976, no ? He's one of the fittest dudes I've seen on here.

And a.khan, I really like those on you ! It's cool that
though you're just a teenage boy, you beat to your own drum.
Those SG1103EX are really flattering on you. They don't sag
down like most teenage boys like to wear their pants
(laxlife's IH 666 are sorta saggy but they still
look adorable on him).

Sorry for being annoying but today is largely dedicated to
neglected fit pics. These I just purchased from
ah_long, Sz31, S510XX-24OZ . As you would expect,
the man gave me a smashing deal and I received them
ridiculously quickly. The denim on these dance a fine
balance between insane toughness, thickness and yes--
even smoothness. They're very, very comfy. Can't wait to
start wearing these...post wash/dry, I believe these
would be 27-oz. ah_long soaked these once, I'll do
the usual of hot wash/hot tumble dry before wearing them
for real. Unfortunately, I'm not a motorcycle courier like
evilcrayon...I probably don't deserve these and my
evo will be totally lame, but oh well...

^honestly, i think we´ve seen wayy better fits on you. these look like bell bottoms on you... sry, just my 1 cent.
No problem dude ! Opinions are always welcome. Yeah, they're
definitely bell-bottoms on me but let me remind you...I LOVE DISCO
music ! Saturday Night Fever is one of my all time fave movies !
I'm old as fuck...it's kind of a generational preference.

ADH92, whatever dude...you and your girl look gorgeous ! Can you convince her to knit a sweater for
me too ?

Fit Pic of my Sz 30, SG1103EX Heavy Weight Jean - Straight Leg
which I bought at a great price from cute lil' laxlife1234.
laxlife did not like these and considering that he's a teenage
boy, I can understand why -- my nephews who are around lax's age
wouldn't like them either. But I love them. These are
BAR NONE my favorite fitting jeans. Seems like
non-teenagers should fall in love with the fit of these (they
are definitely high-waisted) but it must be that they
didn't sell too well, as Kiya sold them off dirt
cheap in a fire sale (less than half price ?) not too
long ago. I don't understand...these are heavy, thick,
every bit a contender with Samurai and IH...they
are gorgeous, top quality and very flattering jeans.
I'm kinda sad that they're not coming back to SESF.
I wanted to buy another pair during Kiya's sale
but just could not afford...

The ROY Ducks didn't come in a Sz 30. Smallest was 32. I thought it might be a new trend for Roy....
