These are the new 1915s, that came out when Levi´s and Cone celebrated their 100 years anniversary of partnership in 2015.

If you like it even brighter, go for the current 2016 version of the 1890.

Oh I had it switched around in my head -- thank ya!  I do love it bright but I also love two back pockets :P

I picked up a pair of black 107's in a size 4. They are actually bigger than the measurements above. A bit loose on the waist but nothing a belt can't sort.

Would ya mind posting the measurements?

I don't really understand how those are that faded and look to have never been repaired.

Kiya, have you started on a new pair after your La Jollas?  I remember when you posted the pix a few months ago you reckoned you might start another cut of Stevensons.

Also Broark, I must agree with everyone else above.  No point in wearing a pair you aren't too keen on.  I'd say sell em and use the money to fund another pair or whatever else :)

Tag size 34 will stretch to 34 exactly. You could go up to 35 for more vintage fit. I've got both in stock.

Dang the amount of stretch seems wild!  Thanks though appreciate it mate.  Now all that's left is to hatch a plan to come up with the money ;);)

  5. Hmm wonder why they can't re use the button? I thought you could take these things apart and put them back together. Also just want to say that the waist reduction is such an awesome service, especially now that they use the original waistband.

What size are you? We're still holding a few pair of OAO2XX in time machine.

I usually shoot for 34 inch wasit when it's all said and done, what size would you recommend?

  7. Damn just read about the history and story of the brand and I think I need that timemachine pair now.  I feel bad that didn't know shit about this brand before :(

  8. Great comparison!  Man I want a pair of the regular 1976s so bad but I don't think I can swing the full price at the moment.:(  I've been wanting to add a pair of Levi's to the rotation and the 1976 seems like the perfect fit to me.  Maybe one day

  9. That TS looks legit.  I always have had troubles writing the letter S for artistic purposes:blush: also I've never heard of the brand Orgueil and it looks like a dope brand and what are those extra buttons on the inside of the waistband, are they for braces?

So I was able to get a pair of the 1976's. I intentionally went for a 34 inseam, despite being that I'm 6'2 (I usually go for a 36 when possible). Anyone else here rock the high water look? When I see a lot of vintage Levi's ads from the 60s and 70s a lot of dudes rocked a pretty cropped pair of jeans - and I mean before cuffing! Any opinions on this around here among the repro fans? I'm on the fence about whether or not I can pull it off. Basically I am talking no break at the hem - just straight.

They are a cool fit for sure for those who are wondering. To me they look like the best example of a true 60s/70s 501 fit I've seen LVC produce.

So about the fit: is this too short? Or can I pull it off late 60s style (think of those photos of the Beatles in jeans, those were some high hems!)

I think the fit and denim of these look great.  How come they aren't on the Levi's website?
