  1. I finished my last shift at work yesterday. Not that it was bad, paid well and was pretty easy, I feel so free though.

I might end up changing schools this week. Guess it's good news as i'd be really close to my closest friends. It is a good thing knowing someone has my back.

  2. Sup xchen?

    Not much, but...

Don't have grease so drivetrain goes on tomorrow. Waiting on the brakes and bar tape so should be complete Wednesday. I'll post another pic then. Setting it up as a SS with 48/18 ratio.

  3. "Lesser performing?" Most netbooks are spec'd the same, that is 1.6ghz Atom processor (n270?).

I love my eee. It handle(d) all kinds of shit fine. Played video fine, streaming of local (divx ftw) and I was able to do photo editing with no problems. That said, I haven't been able to use it in months as I haven't sent it back in for service after it began to smoke while using it one day.

And yeah, with the advent of Windows 7 there should be a few touchscreen netbooks.

Yeah, shit is asking to be broken. If I were to pic up an art piece I would go for something a bit better or a bit less breakable.

And the papers are made of cellulose... people are still just now learning about them?

  5. im scared that mick will never truly have all of my heart cause i wont give it all to him and im scared he'll break it.

and if god forbid that happens, ill b okay and wont have as much to fix...

    lol girrfrien you murried!

Don't be afraid to feel, that is what makes us human, it is not feeling that one should truly fear.

which one of you guys +rep'd him?

I must confess my sufu sin of pity repping him. I probably should have watched the vid before taking pity, I couldn't make it more than a second in when I tried.

Edit: I dig that it is a response to "Fall Nail Polish Colors."

  7. Welcome to hell.

    That is all.

I like all of the old Toy videos (pre Good and Evil). My three favorite videos have to be Girl and Sorry/Really Sorry though. So much of my musical taste I can trace back to skate videos.

Silly hipster... what's so bad about tape? Why not just get it the same color as your bars or something?

Paean, are those Conti Pro Races? I have the same pair, yet to mount and was wondering what your experience has been.

And on the topic of mountain biking, I do some trail riding on my brother's hybrid, so nothing too intense. Last time I went somewhere off the beaten path I ended up fighting my way through briars for almost two hours... not fun.

  9. Alright, quite a few points to address:

To whoever was talking about Vaporstars and Vaporgenies, I bought the Vaporstar combo some time ago and used the included bowl pretty much exclusively. I used the actual vaporstar bowl probably >5 times. I don't know, it just seems that a lightbulb vape gets me higher, have heard great reviews about it though so... YMMV.

On the topic of morning glories, Walmart stocks a brand (Burpee?) that doesn't coat their seeds. I was at the beach for 4/20 '08 and as I couldn't smoke (legal reasons) I decided to take morning glories (psychedelics are rare in the area). I was so nauseated while laying on the beach, I knew i was going to vomit. I waited for a lady walking down the beach to pass me and let loose. It was pretty much water and seeds that came up. I felt fantastic afterward, the trip was pretty much like a low dose LSD trip though.

Oh and this may sound geeky, but classical music on headphones is the fucking bomb while tripping or really blazed.

ONE MOAR TING: my first time getting really blazed wasn't until a few months in. A friend and I smoke in his room and he left the room to go to the bathroom. Light was pouring into the room and since it was somewhat dusty and smoky, you could see the lights edge. I stood over it looking down, almost entering a trance before realizing I had no clue where my friend had went. It felt like he had been gone ages. After some intense thought I realized he just went to the bathroom like a moment before and all was good.

PS- The next edible I make is going to blow your fucking minds (I hope)!

  10. i wish i could find them in size 2 with 30 inseam but thats a dream that i will never see come true.

I need to find a pair of 2x34s. I don't know why I didn't try them on/buy them when I had the chance. I need to finish piecing together my bike though so I will have monies.

  11. I bike 5+ days a week, doing a mixture of distance and sprints.

I workout five or so days a week switching up my routines pretty often, they consist mostly of: clean and presses, pushups, rows, squats, crunches, bench presses, pullups (I do a lot of pullups and chinups, up to 15 dead hang ATM).

Going to start sprinting and swimming once I start school.

With a little research (right...), they are shown to be the Nike City Knife II's.

“A traditional shoe is made of four pieces: an upper, an outsole, a midsole, and a sock liner. In a first for Nike, Schambra combined the upper with the outsole and joined the midsole with the sock liner as a way of minimizing weight. The shoe’s upper is made of leather with a lightweight stretch synthetic base that allows the foot to expand and contract; the triangle-shaped pods provide rigidity, creating a kind of exoskeleton. The City Knife II is available in unisex style as a low and midheight shoe.” Via Metropolismag.

I don't use them for running anymore, but I really like my Nike Frees. Sadly, I have the 7.0s (the most support in the lineup). If it weren't for the fact that I mostly bike in them now anyway, I would go for a different pair in the line as I have heard good things.

  13. More of a cyclist than a meathead, so I think i'll post back progress pics as I don't think i'll be making much progress for the front of my upper body.

    @ 15 dead-hang pull-ups. (Shoulders rolled somewhat in picture)

  14. I just picked up Shimano M-324s but haven't gotten to try them out as the bike they are being put onto is not finished. I picked them up because they sounded like a good platform/clipless solution. I'll put up my experiences once I get to try them out (hopefully in the next week :) ).

  15. It was sarcasm, but you're obviously interested in my life ehh? Got a crush on me?

Get the fuck off my nuts already, you don't know shit about me. If you gonna keep on blabbing, I'll make sure to give you a taste of the peen later just to keep you quiet. ;)

    Dear FAM0US,

you're not my type :) . F'real'do, sorry for choosing a rather tired topic, that of your "realness." Sincerely,

    -Gravitas
