These will be the final update on my jeans and making me out of the contest. I've worn these for 1 year straight and worn them as hard as I could but these are very tough and stubborn jeans. The reason being is that these jeans do not fit me anymore so they are going up for sale. These have had many washes. I need to own another pair of these in the future.

  4. All the 13oz pairs say "sold out" on them, does that mean its all gone now for sure? I checked earlier today and it didn't say sold out because I was hoping to get a pair but seems like I am out of luck.

The idea of a "Goodbye" jean would be awesome, I would get in on that!

  5. My 0500s measure 7.75" at the hem after being hemmed to 30". Lot 15 waist 31, many hot washes and machine drys.

Hmm, thanks for letting me know!

Don't remember how much it shrank, but here are the measurements for a size W32:

    More than 21cm - shy of 8 1/2"

Did you ever do any machine drying? Looks like you are getting only .25in of shrinkage based off your size. Thanks for letting me know!

  6. Question about the s0500xx jeans. On BIG, the difference between the RAW vs OW on the leg opening is .25in but it says 4-6% shrinkage. Has anyone gotten .5in off the leg opening when trying to shrink these jeans?

Im debating which fit might be better for me but don't know too much about how much Samurai jeans shrink/stretch. Currently debating between the s0511xx and the s0500xx.

  7. I believe flat felled inseam is only on standard 3sixteen lines. All the bsp line has traditional overlock as far as I know.

Based on stock pics and my 11+bsp, those are flat felled also. I've also looked up other pictures of 30+bsps and notice it to be flat falled

  8. I bought some 30+bsps awhile ago and this denim is very dark and inky(?) which I am liking. One thing I noticed though, is that the inseam is not flat-felled which I know is common in all 3sixteen jeans unless I am mistaken

Anyone have any insights or info on why mine might not be flat felled?

  9. If you need 2-3 Inch more in the waist, the cut or size is clearly not for you. Sorry.

That is what I was thinking also....but they are one-washed. They fit perfectly everywhere but the waist.

Perhaps try buttoning them up fully, soaking the top block and trying to stretch the waist out (by hand or with some other implement) while it's still damp.

I would do this but I risk the option of returning if it doesn't work out for me.

If anyone sees a pair in a size 29/30, please let me know!

  10. The waist will stretch PLENTY. All is not lost.

Really? I can only get half the buttons buttoned up and the top two is where the real struggle is at. I feel like i would break something before I can get all the buttons buttoned up. I think I would need about 2-3 inches of stretch. Any tips?

  11. I don't know if this is the right thread to ask but if anyone happens to come across a pair of triple works 634n in size 29/30, PM me please!

Just bought a pair of sz 28 off the IH site and the only place they don't fit is the waist. SO SAD

  12. I agree with BF in the sense that I preferred the way the Texas cotton faded over the Pima, so I made sure that I got a pair of Texas cotton and I was definitely not disappointed. Others preferred the way the Pima cotton faded also, so to each their own. It took me a really long time for me to find a pair of texas cotton ones in my size especially, but I am pretty sure there are still a few out there.

This is a brand that I really loved and was not disappointed with though.

  13. Pretty good sale, everything had a flat price to it. Jeans from 60-120, shirts around the same price, jackets were 120. There were a bunch of jeans from size 28-40

The stock that was avaialable was all old and new stuff even 3sixteen+ items. They had pretty much everything besides from their most recent collection.

    Edit: Andrews jeans were fire

  14. There is a lot of progress and fading in a lot of people's jeans and I am definitely behind in this game. Here is a long overdue update.

Here is my jeans at 5 months. These are really stubborn and pretty hard to fade but I don’t mind the challenge. I’ve been pretty busy the past 2-3 months and I finally have some time to relax.
