having been a part of the Ooe tour, i was bummed that the timing wasn't right for me to join the contest.  Flash, you did an awesome job getting this done.  really enjoyed the updates from all the participants.  big hats off to you all!!!

So, that's it for today.  Pretty lame week so far.  I can't stand cold weather.  I'm ready for the sun, beach, bikini's

Ok, here's what's making me fall in love with Trophy.  Didn't even notice this detail till today.  they double up on the bottom of the pocketbag.  I'm sure it's for strength and durability, however, what I like about it is that it adds this subtle hint of comfortableness(?) when you have you're hands in the pockets.  It's something you just have to feel.

Again, small detail but notice the bartack stitch on top.   Another pair of jeans that I've been wearing for the past 7 months don't have this, and started to come apart at that seam.  I had to repair that spot.  That bartack is prob as strong as having a rivet pressed in there.

HEY TVSHOOTER WHY NO UPDATES!?

 

Have no fear, I am here!  I had to wrap up another tour this weekend!  For those that know or don't, i'm basically a tour whore at this point.  It started with Ooe tour a few years ago and I've done (Durty Dozen+2, ROY tour, 2 diff IH tours, a one day stint on the FH WT, Denimbro LVC tour, maybe another i can't remember...)

I'll start the tour off with pic's of the jeans and we'll get going tomorrow with the rest!  I don't have the best camera in the world but I promise to make it fun with whatever I can get my grubby hands on!  Enjoy!

The fit on the right is perfection!   I've been extremely fortunate to acquire some Trophy 1605's and a Dirt Denim Jacket!  I'll be uploading photo's and a short video in the coming days.  The weather here has been absolutely atrocious the past few weeks (rain, snow) and have kept me from posting a proper fit pic.  Few things to note-

 

1.   How outstanding the quality is.  The denim and construction are top notch!  The uniqueness of the denim alone makes it a sound purchase.  Also, the fit works great with pretty much everything in my wardrobe right now from Rising Sun to Real McCoys and all the boots I have.  It's not one of those pairs that only works with certain shirts, sneakers etc.,

 

2.   It seems like comfort is also a big factor in Trophy's designs.  For example, I like putting my hands in my pockets.  The slant design not only looks cool, it makes for a very comfortable "feel" when putting your hands in the pockets.  Most 5p jeans feel tight when I put my hands in the front pockets.  I also love the feel of the green herringbone pocket bags they used, super soft. 

 

3.  Again, the denim.  It's like somewhere between PBJ and Oni, but not like either one.  Great texture, character, slubs, and like Gavin said, it's rough but has a soft feel to it.  

 

 

The tour is a great idea guys!  Really think more people need to see/feel this denim firsthand.  Keep your eyes out for pic/vid post in the coming days!!

Here's an opportunity to own a one of a kind RRL boot!   The person at the factory making boots that day must have had a little hungover from the night before because he started to finish the left foot boot as if it was the right foot!  The V cut at the top of the boot is on the wrong side, however, it has been professionally repaired. (see pic's)  So here's where you can save big.  I only wore these a few times out and realized the whole engineer boot game is not my thing.  

Damn Skur!  All those shirts look great!  I gotta get up the other FH/RJB shirts in the Supermarket.  If anyone's interested, hit me up and I'll send pic's and prices until I get the sale thread up.
