final pic's!  been an interesting year.  too bad the enthusiasm for this contest died so quickly after people got their jeans.  seems like most couldn't get down with the fit or maybe the stubborn denim.  I would say that mine have a solid 9 months of wear.  I did do two jeans tours and mixed in my other stuff in between.  i think the jeans will look better in time!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's great news Drapygo.   Why not just extend the date till the end of June?  I think some of us, maybe just me, got a little bit of a later start due to sizing issues.  I'm finishing strong by wearing these as much as possible till the end!!

thanks CS...and, yeah, there's a lot of blub under my shirt, just hide it well. (i should be in a 32 shhh don't tell anyone)  gonna have to get back to doing something before summer gets here.  but damn, yeah, that fried chicken was unreal.

last night my friend came into town.  he just moved to Chicago with his wife.  seems like all my friends have split from here now.  went to our other friends restaurant.

so, another tour in the books.  i think i put a pretty good beating on the jeans.  washed them once and hung dry them.  they do shrink after a wash but eventually return to size.  they stretch plenty so no need to size up on these.  i hope you guys enjoy them as much as I did.  Trophy makes some real cool stuff and I plan to add some more Trophy into my life in the near future.   as for tours, i think i'm done.  it's been a fun ride and I hope someone else takes it to the next level!

my leg of the tour is officially over.  been a tough month.  i know other areas had it much worse but the weather really suuuucked.  even Iz is over it.

so, i moved this past weekend.  moving sucks but the new place is pretty chill.  just got the innernet hooked up and have these pic's from yesterday to share.  up early and had to grab breakfast on the way.

 

 

 

we had a pretty awful thing happen down at the Navy Base.  some civilian truck guy (with credentials to get on base) got down to one of the ships on the pier and managed to wrestle a gun from a guard on duty.  during the struggle, another Sailor tried to help and got shot and killed.  other sailors came to help and the civilian was shot and killed.  as you could imagine, (with the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard last year), base security is under heavy scrutiny.
