i wear 30 in NS (could probably gone 29) and my rockers are 30 as well. the waist on the rockers is perfect after 2 weeks. i'd say maybe they've stretched 1 inch.

Changing the topic here. . . WTF is up with all these crotch blowouts? I've never experienced one, yet from trolling the message boards for the last couple months it seems this is the most common damage jeans suffer. It seems to be the fate of even the most expensive and well constructed jeans made with denim of the highest quality. We should lobby denim manufacturers to make fortified crotches. Who's with me?

Give it some time, gaydad. 20 hours of wear and your jeans have not reached max stretch. My NS took about 2 weeks. And sadly, my seat is no longer as sexy as it once was.

I've tried them on twice for long enough to look in the mirror, and that's the extent of the wear. Price tag and pin still attached.
Asking 110.00 shipped U.S. or Canada

Thanks!

thanks for the info Sam. Yeah, just comparing the denim on these two again i'm not seeing any difference -- they're both tough as hell. The "Scrawny 13" thread got me amped about really wearing these hard.

So. I own the 1980's (Japanese) and now Rocker (Japanese) and I'm just wonderin if people can help confirm some detail differences between the two.
Comparatively, my 1980's have phat ass belt loops (I like this feature). Also the denim on this pair seems thicker, tougher, less prone to stretch. My Rockers have stretched a considerable amount in 1 day of heavy wear-- knee bulge is especially pronounced compared with the 80s -- whereas the 80's have been more resistant(Could be the fact that the knee measurement is smaller and thus the denim around the knee has seen more pressure). Does KMW use different denim for these jawns?
Anyone else have a similar experience?

after about 1 month of good wear my NS have some heinous knee bulge. looks like i'm wearing knee pads under my jeans. will this go away once the jeans "relax", or do I need to take action? thnx

Don't know about Flatheads, but I love my KMW. I've only had mine for a month but I've seen some around here with great fades. Check out the KMW thread. And a specific word of advice: the denim is very soft and is unstarched, so you need to starch em or get em a little wet and do some squats and wear em dry to set the creases.

Hi Kiya. Is this sale still on? My SUFU time display is fucked and reads 5:00pm today, but I'm in San Francisco and it's about 10am on Wednesday Sept. 24. I set it to Pacific time . . .
Oh and does it apply to instore purchases?

My first raw denimz, purchased within the past 2 months:
KMW 1980 (Japanese)
APC New Standards
Future
Samurai 710xx, or something else slim and Japanese

Do not starch. Get in the shower wearing the jeans, turn on the water. Get jeans wet. Turn off water. Do a few squats.
I know it's a somewhat controversial issue but i was under the impression that starch is only activated once it's heated. Starch will only help set the creases as much as water would.
i take it these (rockers?) got that treatment? They look great, but should i soak the jeans so early, wont this fuck something up?

They're so soft, i'm afraid i wont get any decent fades.

People need to stop talking shit on APC. These fades are better than any on Japanese jeans I've seen. First post answered with first post!

Guess I'll just throw another question on the pile. Do you guys plan to keep carrying Atelier La Durance Prescots? I'd love a pair of the Sterling Blue's or Dark Tones.
