I say just wash em. That denim fades so fast anyway, an early wash won't impede their progress.

I'm 6'3 and find the rise on the 800s perfect. I can't think of another cut that offers a high rise and slim/straight leg. That, and the 1000xx, is why I went with it.

I can't believe how dark those RJBs are in the unworn areas. That close-up lap shot is spectacular.

it'll be fun to see these after a wash, Finn

You could take the Warehouse 800 and size down. High rise and on the slimmer side to begin with compared to Denime XX
This. I'm 6'4 and anything with a rise under 11.25 kills me. At the same time I'm thin and want a nice slim jean. That's why I went with the 800's.

Guys, I've been wearing my new 484s for the past few days. This denim is incredible and the cut is great, truly comfortable; perfect for boots. How much should I expect this 1000xx denim to stretch? I'm at 16.5" after two full days of wear on a tag size 32.
I wouldn't think much. My 800 o/w have stretched maybe 1 inch in the waist over the past 2 weeks, and they were pretty tight initially.

anyone try the 501 STF selvage yet?

I'm looking for good looking fades in the long run so is it best to go with LVC 1947's or APC's? Also what's the LVC 501 '47 cut like?
I'd suggest 1955's, or a repro denim like Warehouse

Got my 800 o/w from BIG today. It's a very understated jean compared to the Samurai I've been wearing, and I think that's part of its charm. The details are interestingly subtle, from the narrow gold selvedge to the oxidized, antique looking buttons. And the denim, while lacking slub, is very hairy. Examined close up, the surface looks like a microscopic forest! I was a little hesitant about buying a one wash jean, but I think Warehouse did a great job with it. The denim doesn't appear to have undergone anything too harsh. It's still very dark, even in color, and, of course, fluffy as hell. I'm sure these are going to break in beautifully -- nice and classic like.

thanks. 800s on the way!

How stretchy is the 1000xx denim? I'm buying some 800 o/w and thinking of sizing down 1.

Maybe Roy should talk to Ande Whall? He's a one man operation without retail, and he makes his living from jeans.

Wrinkly fades: I've only seen this fading characteristic in Warehouse denim and maybe Denime. But some pairs get it and some don't. Anyone know the secret to achieving these fickle and mysterious results?

I'd recommend going true to size. 34, pre-soak.

I am getting Sams S710XX 19 oz. real soon.
I am a true 34 waist, should I size a tag 33 which has a waist of 34?
Do they shrink much?
Also where else to purchase these online with Tab & Arcs besides Rakuten?
Any shops I can email?
About sizing: I'd give more consideration to thigh sizes. The waist will stretch more or less as needed, but the thighs not so much. I have a true 34 waist, but I'm also tall and thin; I can wear a 710 with a pre-soak 33 waist, for a slim fit. What's your build?

nate, love the color on those, I can't believe that's only from one hand wash?? when did you do it?
thanks. i did the wash about 2 weeks ago. filled the tub up with hot water, squirted some Dr. Bronners into my hand, and scrubbed them till they were nice and sudsy. after the wash they were really grainy, contrasty, and electric blue, but with wear they took on a bit of a gray cast-- probably from dirt. they're actually a bit darker now than they look in the pics. in a couple weeks i'll give em another wash and post pics to show that fresh look.
