yeah there's no real way to get a consensus on this issue...it's about as polarizing as issues can get on a college campus, and that's saying something. The quality of experience is really up to the individual's.

Catcher in the Rye was great as a 10th grader...i think this book is taught in many places around this stage for a good reason. As I've gotten older, I have found the book increasingly dull, and require a heavier dose of nihilism, cynicism and sarcasm to satisfy my fix.
