Best song on the album is listed as well. Give me your list

PS: It's worth mentioning that had Black On Both Sides (Mos Def, 1999) been released a couple months later, it probably would have been a contender for number 2 on my list.

  3. ^doesnt matter what hairspray u use to start, just needs to be something that makes it manageable (i actually use a spray-on gel from some dollar store brand) enough so that you can run your fingers through it without getting caught

the finishing spray is L'Oreal Paris Design Extra Hold Finishing Spray (cheap as well)

its not about the products, its about the cut!

  4. ^confusingly written, but i agree. i think alot of ppl jump the gun on the cut, and don't grow it out enough first. It's gotta have that contrast of short and long to be something that is noticeable

with that being said, there are a lot of ppl who still shouldnt go for it at all..

  5. i think this is okay, but you should grow the sides out some more.

then you'll be lynchin' on us neggas, so to speak...

yeah it is a bit severe, mainly its because im tryin to save money on haircuts. gotta learn how to cut it myself one of these days..

  6. Any styling tips? I've been trying to pull this off for a while as well.

    -start with wet hair

    -apply hairspray

-blow dry back with one hand while using a vent brush with the other to curl the hair back

    -apply styling cream

-use a finishing spray if u want

  7. so i never know where on my head my hairstylist should start fading the sides into the top (she never asks anyways).

this is my hair righ now:

    hairsufu.jpg

keep in mind this is taken about 4 weeks after a cut so the sides are a bit sloppy

  8. quick pics of the difference between what i got and what the firm does..

    the firm:

keep in mind i specifically chose to get the super thick sole...he could've done it thinner if I asked

got any before pics? i want to see what kind of damage is possible to repair on a sneaker.
