IMO, If workers aren't willing to work for market level wages, they don't deserve to be in the market.

What I'm least excited about is the fact that if they do go out of business, my tax dollars are heading toward some dude's unemployment who's making 2.5x as much as me with better benefits doing the same level of work. He'll be sitting on his couch making 75k while I'm out busting my ass for $16/hr all because his governing body refuses to let their workers work for a wage that will allow their companies to be profitable.

I would say you're not going to find something that fits spot on with the 811, but somewhere between the 500xx and the 710xx....the 710s are a little too skinny and don't have the same ass/thigh room (probably a good thing) as the eternals and the 500s are tapered but are probably a little roomier in the legs than the 811 depending on sizing. You could also try sizing down on any 5000 model a little and get a similar look, though they may be a little boxier below the knee. Take a look around and see what you like. You really can't go wrong with the Samurai unless you don't wear them.

Question: I've got some desert boots in the brown suede that i have been really beating up. They're starting to look pretty nice and the suede looks a bit more like smoother leather (pardon me, I'm not deep into shoes...yet). I never gave them a water seal out of mostly laziness but also because I wasn't sure that's what I wanted to do to them. I want to make sure these last a while. What ought I do to continue aging these without cracking and drying the leather?
