@amlai: Wonderful looking Flatheads. Will rep when I can.
@ashkaun: mine just hit 3 months and they're nowhere near that aged. Well done. Looking good.

@jyoni: 44s are looking ace, duder.

Well, be it known that the waist is tight as hell. I have whacked out proportions, small legs and a wide torso. Does anyone even remember what size these are? I'm thinking 31, maybe 32.

Update 1: Happy New Year Edition
WARNING, pic heavy.
Hey, all, I've headed down to Birmingham for a few days to visit a good friend who is an art director down here. Birmingham is littered with tons of really great industrial building and modernist architecture left over from the early 1900s and the 60s, so I figured I'd run out in the early morning and take some shots.
Jeans are pretty tight, but somewhat manageable, at least for a few hours. :-)

The jeans have arrived! Self Edge did an awesome job of repairing these. It's crazy, really, that they've held up so well for this long. Didn't the 3001 have the cotton thread rather than the poly? Just curious.
I think dkatz's leg gave them a permanent brown dirty tint. Doesn't show up in the pics quite as much. But they look pretty incredible.
Anyhow, I've got just a moment to post up some pics of the repairs. I'll also be shooting this leg with a phone camera as mine is broken. :-(
More coming soon. I've got a busy month of studio dates, rehearsals, and I think one live show.

Yeah, but wasn't Brando wearing the button fly, original "55" style? The 501z was the zipper version. He may be wearing a true sized '47 cut. Remember, the LVC '47 is based on the downsized biker style from the 1947 Hollister, CA riots. So, in the movie, they may have sized up (as per Levi's recommendation) and washed them. Additionally, "The Wild One" was released in 1953. Jeans could have been from any era in between '47 and '53. In "The Wild One", some guys are wearing a slimmer, downsized motorcycle look, some guys are wearing a looser fit, more similar to a 55, or maybe a true sized '47. I'm no expert, just some thoughts.

The jeans look like an awesome slim fit. Another killer job by Dry Bones. @randomkoreandude: Great fit.

Hey, there, well done. Great to see this going on!

@GregoryH : '47s are supposedly slower fading than other LVC models. Mine only have about five to six months of wear and they're just now starting to show some fades. Still a great pair. The outcome is phenomenal. If they're fading fast, great, as long as they're not falling apart prematurely.

Holy shit! Marshal lives! I've been wondering where those Skulls were.

@roy6: Looking sharp. Must spread.

Yo, D, did you blow that knee out already? That was a clean repair when I had them. So begins the "deterioration" stage of a pair of jeans. I think we can draw this one out, though. :-)

Yeah, I bought it at a rummage sale at I+W and have yet to find a good application. Figured I'd give it a shot.

dkatz: This is some next level shit. Best updates of this two year tour!
I don't even know if I want to follow this: "Today....I went to some meetings, then I sat in the studio all day recording....then, I ran on the treadmill, then I went to bed" No way. Keep the damned jeans. :-)
