  1. dktaz's jeans never fail to impress.

Yo where the rest of you at?

Also, out of curiosity how will we be posting pictures for judging later? We gonna do a giant thread with everyone's pics or a gallery online or wsup? Figured we should discuss it before the actual end-date or else it'll be a clusterfuck of confusion.

  2. Isn't it a bit more than the initial "soak" ? I mean, they wash n dry them hardcore in industrial washers and whatnot. I don't think one can get as much shrinkage with just soaking. I bought the 31 in ow, but if I would've gotten raw, I'd probably go with 30. I might be wrong though.
nah - I think ur right..there's now way you get as much shrinkage as the factory one wash process will provide

I guess...if you think that minimal difference is unbearable..

Or you could just soak and tumble dry them yourself to produce "factory results"

I dunno, not a big deal in my book?

  3. What's going on, its been hella weeks since I sent you my address yo.
    this sucks, as normal..

    i hope?

They are coming man just hold up.

...had some issues moving back to school...

You can take my tour time if you are really that upset.

  4. I dunno...it's been the opposite for me. I wash my jeans every 2 months or so and they've been fading alright. They actually fade ALOT for the first two weeks to one month after the wash and slow down a bit.

    Just me?

  5. Contemplating washing mine for the first time...what's the best way to wash these anyway?

I've washed my pair with basically everything...detergent, shampoo, fancy female soap, etcetc. I don't think it really matters as long as you can get the dirt out of it...and as long as it doesn't have weird shit in it like moisturizer...

I used some olive oil shampoo to wash them while I was in Taipei...didn't mess them up as far as I can tell...did make them softer though, which was nice.

    Hot water.

    Soap/Detergent.

    Scrub[Or machine].

    Rinse.

Dry[hang or machine, whatever floats your boat].

  6. ^panda, a few pages back ;)
    ^ Panda has the 011's not the 013's. ;)

I like the xx-011s more than the xx-013s. Gordon had emailed me about them...but I think the leaf is too much...and it's a bit unnecessary to change the entire tag to say BiG...

...but I'm a OCD purist, I do hope some of you guys get the xx-013, we could compare evo of the lht grey weft versus the xx-005 fading in a slim cut, haha.

  7. what's the shrinkage panda? did you just do a hot soak?

I did a hot soak, and it shrunk about an inch everywhere, I didn't actually measure it because as people have stated, PBJs stretch a lot. My first pair[xx-005s] stretched a lot so I didn't bother taking measurements...but after the first day of wear the waist stretched like an inch already.

The weft is awesome on the jeans, and the yellow stitching is awesome, a little bright, but awesome.

Too bad I won't be wearing them till April/May. :(

  8. So here are my fit pics...in my opinion they are a bit tighter than I would have liked...next time I would size up...but yeah, post soak fit of the xx-011.

I am embarrassed of the fape I'm wearing, was lazing around the house. :/

Stiff as hell when they finished drying. Denim is really nice though, and fit is good.

    Yup.

  9. I like them, they look really purple, I've seen a couple faded pairs and they are cooooool, as long as you can pull off wearing that much purple.

I don't wear enough purple to justify purchasing them, xx-011s instead.

  10. dkatz, most cameras, even dSLRs have a cord that allow you to transfer pictures straight from the camera to the computer. I end up forgetting my card reader sometimes too but I always leave that shit behind because well, it sucks. But if you leave it behind, like me, you can save a few bucks and use it now.

Yup, saving money is an asian's top priority.

Or buy it, use it, say it was faulty and return it.

    :)
