A week shy of 9 months. Jeans are a little bit washed out in this picture - they're not quite that light in real life (camera compensating for black of shirt by upping exposure).

Shit those are beat up.

For some reason over the past 2 months my jeans have been fading at an alarming rate...everywhere but the combs. Will post pics in a week after I get back from NYC.

damn...I just put down for some new XX-005's...sized up one to account for lower rise and beer belly...Should be interesting to see how they'll fit on my chicken legs but anyways just had to post because I'm all giddy from the prospect of new denim...Don't you just love that feeling?

btw, word is the XX-013's are still expected by the end of this year but our man Gordon is still waiting for the official delivery statement...The leg opening is supposed to be an inch ish smaller than what you see in the XX-005's in the same size, and it'll have the same top block...

should i size down or go true to size for 007?

Yo if you just walk on the side of Zhongxiao Fuxing towards...I can't remember the street name...but if you walk on it away from the green SoGo on the opposite side of the street from the white SoGo you should eventually hit the cookie place. Their other cookies I thought were soso...only the fresh bell cookies are worth it, 30 for 3!

I just remembered this really neat dessert place if you like sweets. It's right on Zhongxiao Fuxing. Right after you exit from exit two, walk along the street and you should see it. I forgot what it's called...but it's a Japanese place that sells milk desserts imported directly from Hokkaido. They sell milk dorayakis with different flavors as well as mochis and puddings. I recommend eating the sesame mochi and pudding, the rest depend on how much you love milk / Japanese desserts. The desserts are a bit odd though...they are sold frozen, in order to combat Taiwan's hot and humid weather, so you have to let them thaw for about 30 minutes to an hour. It's pretty nifty, luckily I lived near the place but if you live far it's just about enough time to get the dessert back to your pad to either eat or toss into the freezer.

Yeah fit's good. Besides they aren't cut that slim anyway.

Yeah, my first pair was the xx-005 and it fit just right imo. I was thinking of getting another...but I already have one so maybe I'll give the xx-013/xx-011's a shot.

Was in the market for some quick beaters considering XX-005's but then got all excited when I read through the thread and saw the XX-013...After which I saw the measurements for the XX-011 which is the same cut and DAMN they're probably too slim for my tastes...Want to buy the XX-005's but have to hold out for the release of the XX-013's or else I know I'll hate myself...

Any more updates from Gordon? Still looking at late December I guess...?

I was thinking about buying the xx-013s as my last pair of denim since I started with the xx-005s. I'm going to check them out in BiG and I'll return with a detailed report aho!

My mom really wanted me to eat brussel sprouts, she insists I ate them before when I was little but I don't recall...and all the TV shows and shit make it sound like shit is disgusting. She made it with bacon, it's actually not bad at all. Suck it up and eat it, it's not as bad as everyone says.

When you go, can you take some pictures? Specifically of the indigo dyed one and the two with stripes, please. I can only find pictures of them on the BiG site, and I'd like to see pictures in different lighting to see the colors better.

so excited going to taipei this coming summer. theres also this this store in or near taipei and originating in taipei called REMIX. it sells high-end streetwear. so its sorta pricy. you ca nsearch pics up but its very hard to cop unless you hit the flagship stores.

Frantic crazy post advertising store dude cannot even describe the location of.

Honestly, not much shit to buy in Taipei, hit up the Night Markets buy fake shit and eat food, club, arcades, eat fancy dessert. Shopping is not that great in Taipei.

I prefer shaved ice over ice cream most of the time.

The mian mian bing is so bomb though, that's pretty much the only reason I go out to Shilin besides the night market.
