There we go. I will continue to edit/repost this post for peoples' convenience.

Enjoy. And tell me if I made any mistakes if you spot them, haha.

  2. have got a pair of brand new and unhemmed XX-013s for sale. check my sig.

received my XX-011s in the mail today. they are 2 sizes down from my true waist but they fit well. more than happy with my purchase. glad i pulled the trigger on these. a word of advice is that they are a lot less roomy in the thighs compared to the XX-013s, so you guys might want to take note of that.

Aren't they the exact same cut?

  3. 011's are back in stock. I've been [ ] close to kopping a pair. Just not sure how the grey weft will fade. I'd imagine they'd turn out less contrasty than a white weft?

Panda, have you been wearing yours a lot? Any comments on the fading yet? How's the texture, any vertical falling?

I think you should get a pair, I love them. The fit is pretty much identical to the 19cm. I've been wearing mine since the end of the db contest, so it's been about a month, maybe a week or two more. The fade is coming in a bit now, and it looks to be a bit grey? But the blue is still really bright, so it'll probably be the same contrast, just more grey than white.

I'll post update pictures at the end of my school quarter(Early June), but till then I'm pretty busy...sorry...

  4. So I think this is going to get kind of messy if we do it this way everyone requoting with the actual pictures...is anyone up for modifying dkatz's list so that we have a url link for each person who has posted photos? That way it won't a flood of pics that have already been posted like 5-10 pages back.

Just a suggestion. I can do it if you guys agree.

  5. Eat food for me.

Also, there should be shopping in this thread since the name is taipei shopping only. But to be honest, you won't find any real designer brands worth their price in Taipei, shit is all marked up. Unless you go in summer when they clean out their stock, then it's worth it. Otherwise, I suggest you just go browse, I actually like to buy some wack shit from the night market / streets. Got myself some harem pants for the summer nawmean?

They were kinda lame...but it was <5$. So it's chill.

  6. ...You guys just need to be patient and chill out...as long as it's not KILLING you the fit will stretch...my xx-011s left imprints on my waist the first 4 times I wore them but now they are loose enough that my waist even has some room to breathe. Just hang in there and stop freaking out...

  7. Yo list of shit to eat while you traveling the southern parts of Taiwan:

蔥油餅 (cong you bing) - the green onion pancakes, there is a famous street vendor in hualian(If I remember correctly) that sells this. You can just go there and provided you aren't white or something you can ask the locals and they'll hook it up.

Oajian - the oyster omlettes. Personally, not a big fan. But if you ever do go to Chiayi they have some of the world's freshest oysters and it's probably the best oajian I've had. You can also get fried oysters...which you should eat till you die...cheapest and most delicious oysters I've ever had, so plump and juicy. However, do look out, there are many places to buy oysters...so it's not my fault if you don't observe which carts/vendors/etc are better. Go to the pier to insure freshness.

雞腿飯(Chicken Leg Rice) - Famous in Chiayi. Eat it. It's good. If you are not a fan of this dish you are probably not Taiwanese. Just kidding. Sort of.

I'm not sure what other places you will be visiting if you are going sightseeing, but most people hit Chiayi and Hualian and Gaohsiung, so most can eat some of the stuff I posted...If anyone has particular locations in mind I can suggest other eats.

  8. I'm not sure how old you are. But if you are still a college student you can show them your ID and they'll let you go. But in some rare cases you may need more than that...one of my friends got detained for a month despite having a college ID, had to send them some official papers or some bullshit.

You can get a student visa if you plan on studying Mandarin there and that should be enough.

  9. I think it would be interesting to see the difference in fades compared to a slim/skinny fit

My 005s are looser than his fit, because I bought them when I was a bit chubbier. But the fades turned out AMAZING. It allows for a greater range of movement, so you get much more pronounced fades.
