Besides, it's up to the judges really, even though dkatz and izayuh have awesome pairs I'm sure some other people are bound to have pretty decent contrast pairs/vintage looking pairs.

So...even though LandoCal126 had informed me of this event I did not really look into it that much and went to the LA Street Food Festival with a couple buddies.

...I deeply regret not looking more into this...hopefully they do it again next year.

So the pair of 19CMs that I bought a while ago are too big for me now. Barely any wear on them. Size 28. Willing to trade down to a size 27, or for sale at a negotiable price(sort of...needs to be at least 300).

Figured I'd post it here to see how many people want it before I put it on the supermarket.

A chef I've known for a while gave me some premium Kobe and curry. Decided to make some for dinner.

Thawing.

This is the curry, he said it takes him 2 weeks to make. Puts in all kinds of tasty stuff like lobster brain, fish, herbs, spices, etc. He wouldn't really tell me everything he put in. He gave it to me frozen to preserve it longer. Pre-heat.

Damn. Look at how marbled that meat is.

Coooooookin'.

My Mom always makes this for Chinese New Year. Excellent source of fiber and deliciousness.

I admit, the entire meal pulled together looks sort of lame. But tasted so good.

And dessert. Some hong dou nian gao. I love this shit.

I went to the LA Street Food Fest last weekend and I finally got around to uploading a few. It was awesome, I recommend anybody in the area during the time next year(and hopefully for years after that) to go get some food. Cheap and lots of selection from all over LA. Not a lot of good Asian though, no good Asian street trucks, need to go to Taiwan for that.

Chef Ludo's Chicken! It was great. But it was so sunny that day...hard to not overexpose.

Sorry...another overexposed one...but the CoolHaus IceCream Sandwich truck was there...pretty bomb assortment, 2 sandwiches for 3$. Pictured is the chocolate chip and bacon butter ice cream sandwich.

Dogzilla. Hotdogs with a Japanese "twist". It was just like random shit thrown on it to make people think it was Japanese...although it wasn't. Avocado, sesame seeds, seaweed, onions, teriyaki sauce. Thought this was gonna be some wacko shit at first. But was actually pretty good.

Grilled Cheese Truck. Shit was so good. Had their deluxe sandwich or whatever it was called. Mac & Cheese. Sauteed Onions. BBQ Pulled Pork and like 2 kinds of cheese.

No. Line up is already set up. Sorry. Maybe on the next year if we have one...but based off the "success" of the tour thus far I am not sure how likely another year will be. However, I will keep you updated if we do have another round.

Not all the pictures need the jeans to be in them yknow...like it'd be better if people just took pictures of what they did and occasionally incorporate the jeans rather than have them in every picture.
