Wooo. Update on my comic reading. It's a little over a month since I finished reading ultimate spider-man that I'd downloaded. Since then I started actually buying the comics and I downloaded the rest of the Ultimate Universe and read it all. I've got 20 TPBs from the Ultimate Universe and plan to collect it all, but I'm getting drawn to lots of other stuff right now. Started buying 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man, Buffy Season 8, Ex Machina(In order of greatness). These keep me occupied as far as ongoing series goes. Other than that I've been collecting Batman Hardcovers. The Killing Joke, The Man Who Laughs, Joker (Yes a theme here,) Whatever happened to the caped crusader. Also I picked up The Black Glove today without realizing is part four of the grant morrison hardcovers. The batman is by far the most visually stunning stuff, every artist in the books i've got is amazing. I need to pick up the Absolute batman stuff, Hush, the long halloween and dark knight (the latter two i've read but need on my shelf.) If anyone here has love for the bat, i'm looking for hardcover recommendations.

edit: nick said they only ordered 2 in 46 anyway, and i think he might have got one, or someone else at the store. i'm trying sharpservice to get a charcoal 44 from japan.

wanted that dipdye hoodie so badly, went into nomad a day after they got their shipment and it was sold out in size 46 (they didn't buy 44...). Tried on the black hoodie in a 46 though, was at least 2 inches too long. Q: Was the dipdye cut to normal length or long like the black hoodie?

So I just tried my hand at some fingerless leather wrap gloves. Was inspired by a few thread on SZ. But wanted something cleaner. They're not done but I think i need to invest in a sewing maching that can handle leather. The lockstitch awl I used worked well because the stitching so far is hidden, but would look terrible exposed for the finishing seams.

Edit: If anyone has an recommendations they're more than welcome.

after the CSI type guys were done at my work i ended up cleaning blood splatter off the walls floors and ceilings of the mens and womens washrooms. Everyone who is supposed to tip me out either forgot or ducked out. Then my boss (a big ex cfl guy) gave me a lift home and we talked entirely about marvel comics.
