first, do some searching on rakuten for MF garments. japan generally likes their garments "onewash" to get the uncertianty from shrinkage out of the way so they are generally a good reference for the "washed" measurements. look up porky's or bananafish they usually get most MF pieces.

then, call MF or SE...

if it helps i wear 42 in all FH, with a chest that fluctuates between 42 and 43" and all five MF shirts i have are sz L i bought in the raw state. after a couple washes it will be around sz 42

same. 1/2 size down. i even have a small insole in mine and they fit perfect. i have a pair of black 1000 mile and the leather is quite thick and feels quite substantial. will try and put a few pictures up if i can get around to it in a timely manner.

FS brand new (just recieved saturday 01 May) The Strike Gold SG1101 denim as seen here. fit is very similar to Samurai S5000VX but denim is even more irregular than samurai's texas cotton blend, i would say at least as slubby as Oni.

bit of a mis quote on the website for waist size as it appears the fit shrinks from tagged size, not to tagged. i am TTS 31-32 waist (wear 31 in FH F380 and 32 in IH S634 comfortably) and these fit perfect pre-soak if not just a bit tight in the waist with the same profile as my lot 10 S5000. unfortunately i'm iterested in neither a bruised waist nor the inability to evr really put these through the wash if i need to..

am putting them up for one day as i cant get back thome to put these in the post until tomorrow and would rather not pay return shipping to Japan if i can avoid it. if they dont sell today i will just send them back

Also, next week is coming the first IH workshirt ever made in a super heavy black/gray flannel, the pattern/colors/weight/feel was designed by Self Edge.

Atsui is better in person. last time i was there they had plenty of PBJ, SC, KMW (not my favorite, but nice denim all the same), and some denime (which likely wont be back as another store may have locked this one up)
