  1. what does everyone think of the super blacks?? whats the fit like and does it fade at all? thanks for any thoughts at all

from what ive heard i dont think they will fade, fit is great, just the slightest bit slimmer than my 634s, and very stiff

  2. Great thread...i have a couple of the FH western chambray (7004W) (although technically one could argue that western shirts are a more practical work shirt for wearing when working with cattle (snaps)..., but just managed to track down one of their chambray work shirts (7006W) in black...like this....

...which i've been trying to find for about a year!

Loving the work shirts from post at the mo too

please do tell where you have found this in black. been lookin for this one for quite a while as well.

  3. Hello people,

I am pretty new to Flat Head and after searching in this thread I could not find an answer to this question...

For F380, what is the sizing advice?

true to size unless you have legs like ronnie coleman.

  4. anyone have any interest in buying a pair of S526XXII in sz 31. ordered from 2nd so arcs + tabs. never worn still tags attached. ordered true to size and pre soak they are already to tight in the waist. will post in market later tonight with pictures, but for now here a couple (hopefully will work)

edit. really are my favorite cut so far. i just need a sz 32 instead. just want cost + shipping so i can reorder, so they will still be pretty reasonably priced.

  5. be careful to translate correctly though. employees at 2nd place a high value on courtesy and politeness, which sometimes is lost in translation. you might also try pirates for some samurai things (also FH and others). they accept paypal, and Yuichi is very helpful and here you wont need translation (although sorry no 5000bks...).

  6. Hinoya takes paypal now and ships overseas (not sure if they do it through Rakuten though). Otherwise, I ordered mine from Milwaukee (mil-mil.net), which isn't a part of Rakuten but they still offer great service.

very glad to hear hinoya ships to US. been wanting the persimmon dyed okis, but not finding any way to get them w/out proxy fee.

    thanks

  7. I didn't get a sweater but I ordered 3 pairs of S710xx's and a FlatHead chambray and I placed the order at like 2 AM Saturday morning and they arrived Tuesday. That's fucking amazing.

And I got 3 mousepads, a fan, a tote bag, a few stickers and a freaking 2nd Air Freshner.

they do ship FH, i got a few shirt i couldnt find in the states.

aw man i'm jealous. only 1 mousepad and no bag, fan, or airfreshner (thats actually pretty funny)..

3 pairs of 710s? preparing for the apocolypse?

  8. ohh shit wow! fh sweat shirt??

    pic of the sweats?

i'll get it up in the next few days when i get back home with some pre-soak fit pics. nothing special really, just a plain off white crewneck sweatshirt.

  9. to anyone looking for sams. i cant recommend 2nd enoulgh. after 40oz's great looking fit pics of the 526XXII i went and bought myself a pair (have to wait for soak and fit pics until i finish off my current IH 634s, which may take a very long time), and i cant say enoulgh good things about this store. spent a bit on some shirts and jean and a new wallet and they sent out a free FH sweat shirt with the order (with a nice letter in japanese of course).

  10. does fabfour.co.jp ship to the united states?

i think they may still ship to US. i had contacted them about ordering a couple of short sleeve western shirts couple of months ago and they referred me to a special page for international orders. they were very friendly and pretty quick to respond.

but unless you cant find it i would just recommend going to selfedge, proboably easier.

  11. I'm considering a pair of 4001BK but am not sure about the sizing. If I understand it right, they fit tight, right? I usually wear jeans in 31 (Samurai) or 32 (Sugar Cane 47, Pure Blue 006) and am wondering if I should go with a 32 or 33 in the 4001. I am not after a tight fit, more of a comfortable slimmish fit. Any advice?

Also, anybody has any experience with that new black denim? Does it really fade like the black Samurai would or does it turn to an ugly washed out grey like most black jeans?

judging by your denim list it looks like you go for more of the straight leg. measure your thigh size carefully though. i tried a pair of 3001 one size up and they looked like someone had painted them on my thighs. definetely not made for runners/heavy lifters
