Anyone interested in trading something for CDG Sequoia? I've used it less than 10 times; it's nearly full. PM me. I've got too many woodsy/cedar fragrances.

Two pairs of April 77 Joeys, both are size 27. I'm a true 28 and they fit perfect. Both have been worn less than 10 times and are in really great condition, 9/10.

2) April 77 - Joey Thunder Jeans (black), 98% cotton/2% elasthane:

For real, this looks good. Even the shirt collar popped over the jacket is excusable here.

is anyone reading freedom? seems like the entire mainstream literary world is nutting over it. i skimmed the exert in the times and like it. thoughts?
Just started this eric, and as you mentioned, part of me is reading it because I don't want to feel left out... of something. It's good so far, he really captures genuine emotions that human beings experience better than most American writers. If you liked The Corrections I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Also, an aside, did anyone hear that NPR piece with Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Weiner talking shit about Franzen? As if they can write a lick better than Franzen.

Just finished this too. What'd you think?

Honestly I'm having a hard time getting through 2666. I'm just getting into the section on the murders (about halfway through), and while the shift in style was pretty jaw dropping, I feel like the 5 novella format he originally intended would have suited this work better. The links are there between the stories but they're so cursory at times that I feel a little annoyed.
My question to people who have finished it is-Do the links between the stories become more prevalent or meaningful towards the end?
Not sure if you finished this yet, but I read 2666 at the beginning of this summer, and I can tell you that while there are multiple links, the link you discover in the Part About Archimboldi is fucking awesome and it is very apparent. It's easily my favorite section of the book and the ending is perfect and fulfilling.

Pretty sure the rise on PS is lower than NC. And NC has the slightest "flare" to the hem whereas PS is slightly tapered... Correct? That's what I meant, my bad.

So you're saying PS and NC are pretty much the same thing? I had PS for a bit, but decided the rise was too low. NC might be where I'm headed if that's the case.Yeah, the rise of the PS is slightly higher, other than that it's basically an indistinguishable fit for both on me (and I'm a size 26). My NC's are just considerably far more worn-in and comfortable, but I can't wait 'til the black PS start loosening up.

I wear 27 in NC should i get the same size for black PS?I have indigo New Cures and I got black PS a few months ago (jeans were backordered for nearly 6 months...). Go with the same size. The fit is basically identical.
