I got the decision on my Swedish grad school application and am waitlisted at my #1 choice (Stockholms Universitet) with a 9988 score out of 9999. I'm 11 on the list but so far only 10 people got accepted :/ not sure if I'm fucked or not yet but luckily I wasn't too hopeful in the first place so I'm pretty stoked I wasn't flat out denied!

I soaked it for an hour and afterward the water was still hot instead of lukewarm-ed. But yeah, I went true to size but should have probably sized down one. Everything fits fine, its just the waist area and crouch area that seems roomy. I've heard it takes a while for FH to settle down so maybe that's the problem.

these things will continue to shrink every time they hit water... if I were you I would hot wash them, take them out before the spin cycle and hang dry. If they are way too big, wash them, throw them in the dryer till they are almost all the way dry then hot soak for just a few minutes and hang dry them again. That should get maximum shrinkage out and leave them as stiff as just a normal hot soak would.

went down so hard on my right hip the rivet cut a circle into my skin but it's barely fazed. these things are indestructible, my knee's have bleed a couple times from random falls and the denim isn't even starting to get thin.

Do you speak Swedish? Just wondering cuz I've also thought about applying abroad for grad school but I'm not fluent in another language.

ya, I do happen to speak Swedish but all the graduate programs (in Sweden at least) are taught in English. I think the same goes for most major graduate level programs around the world.

got the email today saying the decision has been made on my Swedish grad school application. since I'm not currently living in Sweden I have to call in (office doesn't open till midnight-1am my time) to find out what they decided, this has been the longest afternoon of my life..
