Can't picture it in the fade.
Is it basically a tube of chapstick?

^ Can't really see it, rockon.....do you have a pic of an actual one?
Now we need a winds player who left a reed in the pocket

Iyoni, there is a picture in the indigo master edition of lightning with a family of people wearing raw denim (dad, mom, two boys and a baby girl (?) ) not only does the mom have amazing fades on her jeans, but the two boys look so bad ass in theirs. no scanner
their .jp site used to have cool 'kizzu' pics

This thread needs pics.
I thought it was a special thing, til I saw some dude who intentionally stuffed his pockets with wee little bottle caps.

iirc New Order's Substance differed greatly in its formats. Cassette and vinyl offered only a portion of what was on the CD. Maybe this was what he meant?

*edit... that song about the "vampire kite" was okay

Moments in Tekkonkinkreet and Dead Man were poignant for me.
Not trying to be obscure and shit...lots of movies in this thread kill me.

She's small and sweet but she's a straight-up thief.
She puts the lipstick in her pocket and she casually leaves...

^ are they rigid?
It'd be pretty cool to see what a kid could do to a pair of raw jeans. Tell him to wear them every day for a year.

I like jpsmith and Paul T's ideas re. anti-fit, '47 fit, etc. Those are more what I would actually select as a purchase. Is forged iron hardware available?
Definitely interested.

lol this thread is really making me have second thoughts
It's some great denim, however much the logo has been exploited. I'm new to it, but having the #2 in my hands convinced me. Can't beat this for entry-level jeans, especially with that code you posted

and all the EPs. all the EPs are good.
yeah.....
I remember Today Forever being my favorite (Nowhere era, go figure). All those songs were really great. And the shark...god I would still love to have a huge graphic of that on the wall.

Actually I'll take that back. Too much of a flash-in-the-pan. The only work of theirs that really qualifies would be the Creation release of Nowhere...8 tracks, the whole record ending with "Vapour Trail".

A mentioned before, the current cut is based on the 1947; it's similar but not by any means identical. The other contender is the 1966, which I THINK has a slightly lower rise, the only person I know who has both is Rob, PM him and ask.
(he's on the 501 visual guide thread, for one, where there's more info about all the cuts, http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=34010)
Great video, btw, love that introduction too.
Edit: Sorry, I thought you were repeating your question, you weren't, my bad... http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=53045
No sweat, questions like the one I had seem all too common
I never pm'd Rob, but I did find a pair of '47s on Cultizm in my size (with a 38 inseam to boot...gonna roll the hell out of them).
I have a question about shrinkage. If it takes ~ 10 soaks to reach full shrinkage, would it be feasable to just do them all right off the bat? i.e. several one-hour soaks/hang-dries in a row? If it sounds like a winner, then I wouldn't mind putting in the time. I just wouldn't want to risk any heavy dye loss, nor ruin the colorfastness of the denim.
I suppose this is how the addiction to denim begins

why is there no pics on the website though?
Dunno, that's odd. Probably just an webdesign error, try emailing them about it.
Shit, I might have to buy one of those Wrangler denim pairs....I'm kinda broke right now though.

maybe we can get some more people putting stuff up?
Not me
Enjoying the read though.
