Patch and embroidery look so good.
Before I get too excited, will these be available in shall we say "robust" sizes like a 38 or (if they stretch alot) a 36?

Also - for specific reasons I would love to have the year - 2009 - being worked in ..I'm still hoping to get that stitched on the backpocket - really small ...
Lot number on the patch maybe?

maxdesu is a youtube username that i've been using for japanese practice
and it's also an easy email address to tell people/remember (my full name was already taken)
I just think the whole katakana/kanji thing is dumb. It's like those white guys who put like 力 on them and think it's cool.
Would it be cool if a japanese guy tattoo'd POWER or STRENGTH on their arm?
I think SLAB summed up the tongue-in-cheek spirit of doing such a thing:
I agree but lets have a contest in the real Japanese repro way -> English texts on tees from Japanese brands usually dont make much sense either ha
I do agree, going about it any more seriously than that (like the "white guy who thinks it's cool") would be pretty lame.

Fresh, loose Earl Grey is my favorite. It's like a quality drug. Once you've had really good Earl Grey, you can never downgrade to teabags or shelved tins.

and jyoni, is this what you mean by more printed?
yeah, that's the look, like it's done in ink

It was fun just to knock ideas around.
James, can you put together more of a printed look for your designs? I think that's a strong point in Jimmy's, since it sounds like embossing would cost more.

i don't know..
anyone have any ideas they'd like to see made?
Wow, that's beautiful man.
I put together this hackjob, lol. Pardon the crudeness. Most people seem to not want the 2009 anyway. Furigana style:

perhaps Chicken can design a patch with or referring to an ox (since 2009 will be the year of the ox and all that) -> two oxes pulling a jeans in opposite ways would be pushing it i guess :-)
Like you said earlier, it doesn't have to make sense...maybe the patch could be styled after furigana?
As in, the ox kanji, with the su fu kana above it in small script? It wouldn't make sense, but would look like furigana.
sample:
*edit, it would have a meaning of sorts..."su fu 2009"

As far as tabs go, we can't have any tabs of any color unfortunately.
But we can have any leather patch design we'd want.. with the Superfuture logo, Dry Bones logo, and Self Edge logo all on one.
But I must say - the Katakana idea was brilliant on the 2 tone tab...
Do you think it would look okay in stitching? I like the kanji that way, maybe the kana would look nice like that too.

pay attention SLAB, lolol

yeah 10cha

We could use kana for the script. I don't think it would have any meaning beyond pronounciation though. I think "furigana" is the word for this?
Su Fu in katakana:

Jean Wang, the nurse from Iron Monkey
That little blande from Project Runway
Yaya from ANTM
Also cosign for SOV. Very trashy in pics, very charming and engaging in person.
Also cosign for Yuki Chikudate (reeeeaaaal familiar pic there). Awesomely pretty, always smells good when they play in town.

Or did you mean where did I get punched?
Thought about this just now at the club...really sad that I have internet epiphanies at the bar.
