Will there be extra stock for those who want to make a game time decision in October? I have absolutely no need for a new pair of jeans, but I always love the spirit of a contest.

There have been for both other BiG contests. But, be warned, there is a markup over preordering.

Another great thing about a contest for two years is, if you just bought a pair you really want to break in first or you're a 9 to 5 kinda guy, you can still get in on it. Even if you can only get started 6, 8, 12 months in, you can end up with a great pair.

I'm definitely torn. I was about to buy some Strike Golds, but this is definitely tempting.

I still can't figure out what difference the yellow stitching around the pocket makes. It looks the same between the contest and the one wash 811s. Is it just a problem with color representation on my monitor plus me breaking my glasses two days ago? Is it really yellow yellow, and I just can't see it?

Is it possible that, after being dedicated/obsessed with these for a year, I forgot to post them? Apparently, yes.

Honestly, I've only worn them a handful of times since the end of the contest out of both fear and laziness: fear that the entire back will come apart and the hole in the crotch expand and being too lazy to patch them up. Still one of my favorite pairs for special outings though.

On a side note, someone was hyping the new Whiplash Whopper (Iron Man 2 tie-in) as the second coming of the Angry Whopper.to me a while back, saying stuff like red peppers and all this nonsense. I had it yesterday--- the red peppers are little fried things (I was expecting roasted red peppers, not really thinking about BK's demographics and price point.) No onions. Mildly spicy mayonnaise. "Pepper jack" that was entirely white cheese with no flecks of anything in it. Total meh.

I wanna read that book that was on Blackbird with all those ivy looks from the 60s.

I hated Jimmy Fallon. I hated him on SNL. I hated the way he laughed at every joke he ever told. He even laughed at things that weren't jokes. I hated him when he took over for Conan. He seemed to destroy every interview he ever had. He did that stupid giggling over everything. He was trying so hard to be cool and it was obvious. It was painful.

But that's not much of a confession. Everyone, I think, thinks that. His success is very confusing.

Now confession time: I really think his show has improved. Improved to the point, I actually enjoy it. Now, mind you, I don't go out of my way to watch it, but sometimes I'll DVR it if someone decent is on. Still, I would never openly tell anyone this.

I think I'll pick up some. it's cheap enough where I don't mind buying it unsampled, especially considering Luckyscent still charges $3 for less than an mL sample.

Then again, I just noticed L'Artisan took Dzing off their website. So, discontinued??? I wanted to pick up a bottle for a while, but I kept putting it off not wanting to pay over $100 for a scent.
