  1. Strangely sometimes when I get high, I end up questioning everything completely. It ends up that I feel that I should reject all the fake shit around me and just move on and get back to the more authentic me. Bizarre.

    I think I need a vacation.

    Paging Tyler Durden?

  2. I read these last few posts in reverse order and became incredibly confused as to what you guys were talking about.

I'm right handed, and I find when I need to prop myself up, I usually use my left, leaving my right hand to engage from the left.

Edit: My left hand is practically worthless in ball. Piano too.

  3. 7) Just remember who's tapping it now and you'll have no problem.

If you seem insecure and act territorial toward the guy, i.e. being awkward, its clear you've got something to worry about. If you don't give a fuck because you know your girl is content now, all will be well. DON'T try some bullshit like trying to be all over the girl in front of everyone.

    Makes sense. + Rep

  4. It's not just the perfume. Scented hand creams and other such products seem to leave a longer lasting scent in clothes/sheets than perfume. Especially when everything is being touched by their hands, and the lotions are being reapplied so often.

Question for dirajio, what if one of the girls switches it up and starts using a different scent? It would seem like a waste to put her on the bench.

  5. do any of you actually play bball? I dont becasue I am shit at it, but people always assume that I do...

I always feel like the two default ice breakers for new people I meet are:

    1) "You're tall, do you play basketball?"

    or

    2) "Wow, you're tall for an azn. Do you play basketball?"

  6. 6'2''

The closest I have ever been to dunking was during my last year of highschool when I was playing basketball almost everyday. I twisted an ankle about a year later, and my vertical has never been the same.

Also, I enjoy being the tallest person in my entire extended family.

  7. Compromised cards are actually quite common. I work at a bank, and at our branch we get dozens of people coming in everyday to get their cards replaced. It's usually nothing though, I would say 99% of the time the customers were contacted only out of precaution.

If you can, you should use a credit card instead. It is supposedly more secure, but if anything happens it's easier to dispute since a pin number wasn't keyed in.

  8. Seriously though, who cares if there are PHE students there; they keep to themselves and the girls are muscular. New residence doesn't provide typical college antics, it provides a restrictive living environment. Location is key, but after seeing both sides, Chestnut is better for your social life. New Caf = Chestnut caf. Decent yet still horrible when you think about it.

I lived at New '05-06, and would still warn against it. Waste of time and money. I don't talk to anyone I met there.

I don't know if I agree with Chestnut being better for your social life, but I guess we just had different experiences while we were there. Mainly because I was in engineering? In any case, your experience at either Chestnut or New will be what you make of it.

Also, 05/06 is when i was living there too. Small world.

  9. 89 Chestnut > New College res. Trust me. I lived at New College, as I've mentioned here my ex lived at Chestnut. That is unless you are a terribly geeky engineer or something.

I don't agree. A college campus should be conveniently located and be a good place for typical college antics. While Chestnut does have nicer facilities, it is out of the way, and there's way too much security. All the engineering buildings are like, 3 minutes away from New (30 seconds if you're running to class,) and people registered at New can eat at Chestnut (much better cafe.) New may have a lot of engineers, but it also houses a lot of PHE students (See: CGWs) because it's close to the Athletic Centre. You know, if you're into that.

When is the deadline to respond? All things considered, I would wait to see if the New waiting list gets any shorter, they're usually pretty accommodating to engineers.

BTW, Hocus, when did you live at New?

  10. 6' 2", in around 175lbs.

If it was possible to choose where I would lose weight, I'd opt for slimmer legs (to be more proportionate to upper body), but otherwise I'm pretty happy with my weight.

Like everyone else has been saying though, wouldn't hurt to start heading back to the gym.
