I had to soak my NFxONI after some idiot dropped a pint of Guinness on them.....about 3 months in......here are some before photos.
love the slub on this fabric

I too just picked these up and I am wondering the same thing. I also have the ONI collabs (un-sanforized), and they shrunk a good amount. I had to size up. Maybe a warm soak wearing them in the tub?....That was my plan.
I just got a pair of Low Tension for $112 from Revolve Clothing. I was wondering about them being woven with such a low tension that they might shrink more than normal. I wonder if I should warm soak them first, so if they do shrink the fades won't shift and my cuffing will stay in the same place. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

I was only in MTL for a few days...back in CA now.....They have both at Rooney if anyone is in MTL and wants to do a comparison.
indeed. maybe you can compare them again with some close-ups of the denim0 -
Def a good point. Just one of my obervations when I was comparing the two. I would be curious to know where the Japan heritage denim was supplied from.

I saw both Japan heritage and the NFxONI when I was in Montreal. The Japan heritage seemed to have a looser weave, the onis are very tight. Both have a good amount of slub, the onis have more irregular patches that rise above the surfacenof the denim. Overall I was more impressed with the oni collab so I went with that.

soaked my NFxONI this morning. Wore them in the bathtub with warm water for 20 minutes. Hanging to drip, will wear when damp. Here are some pictures for now.

They have Stronghold jeans available......For some reason the Hickory stripes are $125.....I am very tempted to buy, but I have never heard of the site......They seem to affiliated with American rag LA for these jeans?

Jeans: D2 - Persimmon
D2 is the relaxed fit for men. High back rise, normal front rise, and full legs that narrow to the hem. Button fly. The D2 is for denim enthusiasts particular about details, materials, and quality. As you where them, the light japanese persimmon dyed selvage denim (Kojima Japan) will grow darker in color which will create a very unique look. The wear process is totally the opposite from a regular denim, which fades lighter. D2 Persimmon wears dark instead.

what's the difference between the Mark II Chambray and the other one?
from the Iron Heart website....
Mark II - Heavy Selvedge Chambray Shirt
Identical in every way to IHSH-09 - the original heavy chambray, but with no front yoke

Wow, those look great. They seem to be holding on to their color pretty well even with all the washes.
Where did you snag those Sorrels? the color of the fabric looks amazing - are they going to fade as well? I'd like to see some updates on them in the future!
they had the sorrels at revolve for a while.......they are a nice heavy denim......and the color on them is really cool.....lots of striation......i'll try to get pictures up in a few.....

I would be careful with sizing the NFxONI. I had to size up from my normal Weird Guy size. It shrank a good amount after the initial soak.
