  1. Try the levis "iconic" cuff jeans that they have on their website. In stores, they are called the "tilted straights" and come with rainbow selvage. These are stretchy enough and from the fits I've seen, they looked real good and people were happy with the cut.

  2. i think we are talking about two different things.. I've seen the LVC 1971 517 saddlemans.. Those are legit LVCs. The ones Im talking about are the brand new 1966 Skinny jeans for Women. Retailed for like 80 bucks, pretty thin weight denim, kinda shitty shade of blue. I saw maybe 3 pairs of these 1966 jeans that had a BIG "e" while the rest had regular small "e"s... HAD to have been a mistake unless levis intentionally mixed in 5-6 pairs of these big e's in with the regular small e's..

  3. the 1966 skinny must have been the 606s, origanally the came with a big e orange tab, nothing weird about or was it only an E on an plain orange tab like with the cotemporary Capital E Premium line???... to the 70s flare i remember there have been jeans made by levi´s called "movin on" which had been produced until the 80s, sometimes you can see "The Toff" wearing them in Knight Rider with but pretty ugly pocket design!

yeh, thats what i was saying, the "1966" cut is probably designed after the 606 super slims. And I think the orange tabs with the LVC-esque capital E's were a brain fart by Levis because there were only 5 or so of these with the capital E's, rest were plain small case e's... This wasn't like the Capital E Premium line, it was like the LVC line.

  4. btw, i stopped by the Chicago levis store and noticed that they had a skinny cut for women called the "1966 skinny". From the looks of it, it looked like a reproduction of the 1966 606 Super Slim jeans. It didn't have a patch, and the cut looked very similar to my 606s. Orange tab and the weirdest thing was a few pairs had capital E's. Next to those were some other orange tab jeans called the "70s flares" which had a unique back pocket stitching which looked pretty similar to warehouse duck diggers. It was the first and only time I've seen a pair of levis without an arcuate.
