what are the best clubs these days?
honestly clubbing doesn't do much for me, tend to get bored after a few hours, but there's bound to be some clubbing in the coming months.
i liked womb and a few of the daikanyama clubs three years back, still good or got worse?
i generally have no love for roppongi, but i'm open to be proven wrong.

Thanks. That's what I thought, too big for me. Been looking for this (though in a different leather) in my size for quite some time. Beautiful shoes.

fits like what, in US sizing? 11? Measurements of outsole/insole?

Speaking of performances, I am really excited about this. Antony [of Antony and the Johnsons] performing with Kazuo Ohno, one of the founders of butoh, along with his son, Yoshito.
Yeah. I've barely listened to Antony, but I'll definitely go to one of these shows. Love William Basinski so that'll be cool, too. Will probably go on the 12th since Do Make Say Think is playing on the 11th, and although I haven't heard their latest two releases, Goodbye Enemy Airship is one of my absolute favorite albums. Haven't seen them perform so that should be fun, hopefully.

Please tell if you have any recommendations!
I spent my Christmas Eve here, drinking whiskey with the owner -- http://www.cp-paragon.com/main.html
Really want to check out MISTY in Asagaya, too.
I will! Gonna check these places out, thanks a bunch.
Maher Shalal Hash Baz is playing with Yoshio Hayakawa of the legendary psychedelic band the Jacks. The third part of the show is MSHB playing together with Hayakawa, for which Tori Kudo of MSHB wrote new arrangements.Nice. I'd love to see this.

good haul herp. i wanna find someone who looks like mariko okada did in the mid-1960s, preferably to support me financially as well.
i also wanted to find a place in ebisu but will probably end up in nakano-sakaue.
i wonder if it will be the same with girls. shooting for ebisu status, ending up with nakano sakaue status.

free bump for a great deal
also bump for WTB inquiry: if anyone's got these in the matte leather version in sz 9 and would like to get rid of them, let me know.

That picture is deceiving. You gotta veer to the right, and walk down a stairwell. I forget what the other place is, but I dont think you or anyone here would really care.
Yeah, I don't think I've been theren (inside the store) but if it's in nakame I've probably passed it lots of times, which would be why I recognize it.

hahaha, but with koreans. maybe that's better? i dunno. never been to korea but i loved the koreans i was hanging out with in tokyo. they slept like 2 hours a night, worked like fucking machines when in school and spent the rest of the night drinking and smoking cigs. never seen people drink so much and so often. my kinda people.

I lived kinda close to Dobutsuen-mae eki (Nishinari-ku) for like a week, and it was definitely sketchy at night. Arrived late at night when I got there, the whole area smelled like piss, herpsky weren't kidding. Took a night stroll to look for food but everything was closed or boarded up, homeless drunks everywhere and people running around in fucking ski masks. Police sirens just outside my window non-stop at night. I came straight outta sancha so I wasn't really prepared for that shit.

Share house or share apartment ?
Either is fine, I guess. Maybe I'm not following you; what would be the difference? Just looking for a room to stay, and I figured if I can share a place with a few good people, that would bring the price down.
There are quite a few companies that specialize in gaijin house style accommodation that do apartment shares but are pricey for what they are, though 3 week notice period and tiny deposit with no key money or anything is convenient.Yeah, if possible, I'd prefer to stay away from the whole gaijin house bizniz. In my (admittedly short) experience, they're usually filled with nerds that fled to anime land, or bros, or both and I have no patience with those. Plus, GH's are usually dirty and relatively pricey, as you said. I know of one decent in higashi-nakano which is sortof a last resort.
I have a similar arrangement with a gaijin friendly leasing company and have a 9th floor apartment for only 80,000 in Nakano-ku.Something like this would be nice. Details?

need recommendations for cheap places to live temporarily. would prefer somewhere on the west side, but not too far from the action. won't have a ton of moniez to splurge on rent. would prefer meguro-/shibuya/nakano-ku or east side of setagaya-ku.
how difficult would it be to find like a room in a shared apartment? best course of action?

Yeah, it's like three blocks from Midwest, a little closer to the station.

Yeah, when does shit hit deep sales? Will it be worth waiting for? Is there anything decent left right now?
Does YY aoyama store ever go on sale, or do I have to go somewhere else? Isetan?
So many questions.
