Is there an Ed HardyxEvisu collab? I saw a dude rocking a pair of jeans with a giant Ed Hardy logo on his ass only to notice a leather Evisu patch. Weird.
Sound mega fake.
What does everyone think about the Evisu Slim Labor 0005 jeans, and what type of selvedge is it? They look sweet as hell. And does anyone know if customers of ok-ni get charged extra an extra customs fee?Their green-caste, left-hand twill selvedge denim. The denim is made in Japan, and, more than likely, finished in Macau. They run big.
I don't know anything about Oki's policies.

Will definitely rent RDR before buying it.
Yeah, RDR improves vastly on the GTA open world experience, but focuses on a setting that is rarely embraced by developers. You got random events, rabid fucking animals to hunt (or be hunted by), better graphics; bounties, different breeds of horses, mini games and a bunch of other shit.

If you're talking about the CP', they release in Fall.

You are right, sorry.
Meant F/W 10
It's cool man. Nothing serious.

Not jeans, but evisu has some great looking jackets coming up for s/s 10:
Those items are for Fall, not spring.

Someone posted an examination of some denim factories in China, and the places looked pretty well maintained. However, these were likely the more prosperous factories. Also, not surprisingly, a number of sweatshop workers actually like their jobs, since it's better than the alternative. That shit may be true, but the worst factory practices in the states and i assume in Japan are nothing like the worst sweatshops in china. And, no, I'm not condoning deplorable working conditions.
I also found this article to be interesting:

The Lot is 2008 #4 denim, which, according to last season, is open-ended. However, I'm not sure if the denim has been changed or not, since the brand is under new direction. Supposedly, according to an interview, the new jeans are made in Italy or the U.S, I'm not sure though. The denim is sourced from Japan. There are no gulls on that pair. There are some on the 2010 cut though. Here's a description from Barney's:Need to know what denim Lot this is, and if anyone can give direction on where to find sizing charts. Also, gulls on these? Denim weight and source? How anyone can buy with this info is beyond me2008 model from evisu website...

As far as the cut, I'm not sure, I assume it's probably straight leg. I can't seem to find a fit pic for that particular pair.
Also, those are international Evisu's, which aren't the same as their Japanese counterpart.
EDIT: Dawei got most of it.

Those Leepro's are pretty nice.

Rewatching season 1, Bird's interview.
Just realised Daniels tears up a polaroid.
Dude is hard as nails.
Crazy scene.

Seriously? China? God, I hope that isn't true. I'm not knocking China made product, but Warehouse being made in China? I don't see the point. Hopefully it's a mistake.

Vintage denim has been in the mainstream fashion media for a few years now. In fact, Kiya/SE has been featured on Hypebeast several times. Most brands manufacture cheaper versions of selvage denim to present to their consumers, instead of seeking the services of respected denim brands (sans Levi's). I doubt we'll be seeing Warehouse in Macy's because of a collaboration with J. Crew, since this type of denim is targeted towards a niche audience.

I can't speculate on whether J. Crew's target demographic are wannabes, or who has the right to wear a product. It simply interest me because I'm a fan of denim, and have an appreciation of Warehouse's products. That's all.

See this is what i don't get.
On what level is anyone on this forum "interested in seeing the product"?
This won't be different or exciting at all.
Actually, for us, it will be a complete run of the mill five-pocket pair of jeans.
In the same vein, I could say the same thing about any denim brand. But, seeing as I'm slightly more knowledgeable about denim, I know that jeans differ in overall design/quality. It's the reason why people prefer certain brands. The only individual who couldn't care about conception is the person who knows "dick" about denim. I only see denim aficionados being excited about this piece.
Why would an individual, who lacks knowledge, care about a collaboration with Warehouse?

I could care less whether they researched it on the internet or not. I'm interested in seeing the product.

Sorry to say this but this board seems to be of guys who are close-minded to their own fashion sense - straight/boot/slim fit. Some time ago all of the skinny fit guys would be laughed at. Actually it wasn't too long ago, what ten years?.
Close-minded? Why? Because those shits are ugly? The bright stitching is hideous, the back pockets are doo-doo and the overall fit reminds me of denimized hammer pants; BTW, why the fuck would I want my button fly exposed!? Your defensiveness over this matter implies that you're associated with the heathens responsible for this product.
At least the product is aptly named.

I just read something that said a number of Ipad purchasers didn't even know a netbook existed. Knock the Ipad if you want, but Apple's marketing is fucking genius.

Can't wait until 3 months from now they drop a better version with flash/usb and fuck all the early adopters (again).
Knowing that the HP Slate is about to hit the market this year, I'm not sure why anyone would rush out to buy an Ipad. The Slate, supposedly, will have a USB port, comes with an installed OS, can multitask, uses Flash and HTML, and will be around the same price as an entry level Ipad. Hell, by third quarter, if some of products below live up to their hype, the Ipad will be outdated.

I heard it's good for entertainment purposes. Still skeptical.
However, the HP Slate, from what I've heard, is going to put a hurting on the Ipad. Similar design, but with multi-tasking, Flash and HTML support, Windows 7 OS and about the same price as an entry level Ipad with 3G.

Haha! It's kinda funny. They don't even have a size chart up for the new jeans, let alone a fit pic.Looks as if they've not managed to find a proofreader who's up to the job yet, judging by the repetition in their item descriptions
That's the weird part. At Barney's, the raw jeans have an option for either a 32 or 34 inseam. I think Evisu's being half-assed with their description on the site. The raw jeans are looking alright, but you're fucked if you need a longer inseam than 32"...
Also, according to Scott, most of the new jeans will be made in the U.S. or Italy. I bet these are Macau's though.
It'd be awesome if they did more repos like that. However, I heard they got sued by Levi's (again) recently. Seems they don't won' Scott to even consider reproducing classic Levi's.It's a 0005 cut...shame they couldn't have done these pockets on the Lazy S jeans...0
