  1. And what the fuck is a 'Japenese fit'?! Do they employ the same proof-reader as the International Evisu site?
LOL. I noticed that. Also, what's a Japanese fit?

Also, they appear to be d85.

i wonder if those are the same ones i saw for sale at barneys coop a few months back.

Probably not, the one's at barney's were slim-fit or skinny. I think they were these:

  2. ON a worse note it seems evisu online is now selling LOT 2000! jeans (Japanese i assume by the inside tags.) However only NO.3 denim! (Apparently no3 is no.2 without the selvedge or so they say!)

The newer denim comes with that inside tag. BTW, those are in fact selvedge, and are apparently a new fit (based off the Japanese 2000 cut). Pretty awesome. Here's some actual fit pics.

  4. I'm sure but seeing it as I've worn my MIJ No2s to shreds and I've found a sweet pair of Macau no 1 specials on sale at like 100 USD I'm asking how nicely they fade as compared to my No2s which I love.

100 USD? I say just get em. I seriously doubt you'll regret.

  5. Wish I could rep you guys, some damn nice pics; seems you'll be busy for a while Crash.

Are the new no.1's red or green caste? And new no.2's green caste?

As far I know, they're still red-caste unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  6. Yes, the hues should be somewhat different during the fading process. I doubt the red line jeans (the ones with purplish tint) will look bad, particularly since a majority of Evisu Japan's denim is red line. You can find plenty examples in this topic; Cheap's recently posted pair is one such example. Crash also has a number of pictures and examples.

  7. I'm not sure what you mean by fade differently......The jeans may have a slightly different hue in terms of fading properties, but they should both fade.

I think the dyeing process may play more of a factor.

  8. All in all; the No. 0's are about $6-10 more...........LOL! For some reason, when I initially responded, I had your original 48,000 (which was an error) stuck in my head. Crash has a fucking good memory.

  9. As for the shrinkage, didn't it turn out that the shrinkage was around 2.5 inches? If so, that's the same as expected No.1 shrinkage (2-3" in the waist)...I remember at the time that the shrinkage mean that they didn't fit him...[

Actually, it seems they ran smaller in the waist, with a size 38 measuring 37 inches, and shrinking accordingly.

  10. I thought it was 32,000 Yen compared to 31,500, or similar. Not much difference at all...

I was thinking something around 50,000 yen, I'm not sure though.

    EDIT:

Yeah, they were 41,000 yen (for everything including shipping). Well, at least BLM4's pair was. That's crazy, you'd expect it to cost almost double. His original 48,000 yen price tage would have sounded more accurate.

I've heard people mention the merits of one year's No.0 over another's, and so on.
Also, it seems the last batch shrunk more than No. 1 denim.
