  1. if you like johnnie to's other movies!

i guess i'm biased, because he uses most of my favorite actors, and he's got the melville influence.

isn't johnnie to supposed to be connected to remake le cercle rouge? delon is supposed to make a cameo too. i can't remember where i heard this though...

    and

i've seen dumplings a couple of times so i just went to the next one.

takashi miike's bit is probably one of the best things he's ever done in my opinion

    the other two can't compare

  2. it wont be as shiny once you cover it in mash, cadence and macaframa stickers :P

You end up getting pedals too? I grabed some mks sylvan off ebay for like $25 brand new.

haha hopefully ill resist the temptation :P

yepyep got some mks sylvan plus clips off wiggle.co.uk (also a decent helmet and lock)

awesome, free shipping over 90bux and wayyyy cheaper prices than buying from a retail store here in aus. only problem is my helmet wont have a australian certified thing, but i dont intend to be track racing anytime soon (maybe a long way away) so i hope it aint a problem...

  3. try carhartt at mc? i think i saw some dickies there but not sure if they have the slim chino.
seksu, I think he said he got them from a dickies store on smith street? I wouldnt mind grabbing a pair for riding in. You end up getting a bike?

    damn late sorry

shitw e have a dickies store in melbourne? i never even knew

ye im gonna grab a couple pairs then, seem perfect

yer tyro i got a bike. was looking hard at purchasing a khs flite100 brand new, but ended up getting a chrome bianchi pista second hand. not my first choice, but i couldnt pass up the deal

happy with it so far... just wish it wasnt so shiny haha

  4. lol. Because of the way I look, people just assume I smoke (and I do, a lot) and cab drivers offer me smokes and shit, waitresses bring me ashtrays, servers sit me in the smoking section, and all 5 or 6 of the part-time workers at the Family Mart in my building know my brand and don't even ask me, I just say 'cigarettes' and they grab them.

i get the whole "you look like youre a smoker" thing a fair bit

i dont know how taht works....

  5. the touring has the cage completely surrounding the spindle/platform in a "U". track just has plates on either side. road is like the track, but with teethed plates.

yeah, im reconsidering going for road pedals. theyd be wider = more platform for sneakers, no? plus the teeth on the touring pedals make me a bit worried for the soles of my sneakers...

    thanks

  6. quick question

    mks sylvan touring/road/track pedals?

    any preference?

is there any real difference between one and the other when all youre wearing is sneakers?

jstu wanted some input, prob just gonna get the touring plus clips n straps

  7. yeah i have no idea what they are, they were labeled "japan style" or something, but a nice slim straight fit. Feeling really sick of skinny jeans steez so am glad to have picked these up .

also a few dudes pm'd me asking what AA tee that was, so in case anyone wanted to know its this one .

super long though and not as slim as an RO so they don't bunch as much, so make sure are tall enough.

you get the dickies in melb? if so, wher e?

i want some khaki pants for summer mmmmm

    looks good btw (Y)

  8. tyro, ur into bikes and stuff, no?

tell me if this is a worth it?:

it seems exactly what i need (nothing toptop of the range, but something decent and well made for my commute) in my budget price range (~500-700$), but i am pretty noob -- dont want to be rolled lol
