I'm off to Japan soon so I need suggestions of vintage styles and producers. I like, and suit, loose fitting styles.
Your recommendations, please.

The damn cleaners here at work, jamming too much toilet roll into the holder so that when you pull it you only tear off a piece the size of a postage stamp. It takes an age to pull off a decent sized handful.

Oh and women just loved it. Problem is, cleaning the boz off the end is a bit of a chore. It sticks to the ring and you have to swivel it around to get it clean. Scrupulous genital hygiene is a must. Frankly I couldn't be arsed any longer.
Good luck with it fella.

I'm allergic to the nickel in surgical stainless steel. My nipples wouldn't heal until I replaced the rings with 24k gold. I had an ampallang and a PA done at the same time so that I got continual play. I persevered for a few years but kept getting infections and the tip of your todger is no place for continual soreness so I removed the penile piercings. Removed my guiche as well because it interfered with cycling. Still got nine hafadas and the nipple rings; coming up to 25 years now.

Damn, I actually have that book and I've just seen how much it's worth. Yippee!

I think that what other posters dislike, myself included, is the dilution of the brand brought about, in part, by the European Edition range which sports tacky, overly branded products. Most of them lack the finesse of the early 90s Japanese editions and appear vulgar and ostentatious with a complete lack of subtlety. It's become more a case of conspicuous consumption - 'Look at me, I spunk loadsa wedge on my jeans.'
I don't detect any racist inference from the fact they are now popularised by one section of society. Posters are merely pointing out how hideous the jeans look.
That said, Evisu still produce some superb jeans, but the maxim - less is more, still applies.

have you seen the tag price on SugarCanes in Interstate???
quote]
Interstate are selling Sugarcanes? Are you sure you're not thinking of American Classics opposite?

I hope it was because of the discount.... Also im not even sure if the guls are hand painted on them...
Yep, 50%, and the gulls are black so you can hardly see them against the dark indigo. I don't care either way if they were hand painted or not. Nice jeans, tho.

I hit the order button on some Evisu Heritage (Oki-Ni collaboration) yesterday; to add to my growing collection of new and unworn raw denim. I keep telling myself that these are future projects.
I wonder, is there an Indigo Anonymous?

Get a standard sized Rizla (cigarette paper) lick and stick gummed edge to top lip just under the nose with the excess paper pointing downwards.
Light the paper, do not breathe in, and wait until it extinguishes. The flame will successfully singe off any excess nasal hair.

Yup, that's them. I also got mine for £30. They also had some 47 repros for the same price in a sale earlier on this year.

ya i'm sure nudie is like the gateway object as is weed to any other drugs.
[A pedant writes]
Weed is not necessarily a 'gateway' drug. That's a bit like saying too much coffee will eventually lead to heroin addiction or alcoholism.
[/irritating pedantry]

I saw the Sex Pistols twice on their Anarchy in the UK tour. They spearheaded a movement that shook up the stodgy suffocating prog rock bands of the seventies like: Yes, ELP and Genesis et al.
However, the American protopunk sound is what made the music viable - the Stooges, the New York Dolls (later, one member formed Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers), the Ramones, Velvet Underground - they all presaged the UK punk scene of 76/77.
Compare those bands to some of the UK's offerings: the Damned, the Slits, X-ray Spex and Generation X, and you'll find that the American, mainly NY, sound leaves a significantly influential musical legacy; whereas the UK punk scene was all but over by late 77.
Essentially the majority of the English punk bands had the attitude but little talent.
Just my two penn'orth.
And while we're on the subject I'd like to mention Lily fuckin' Allen as one of the most overated talentless fuckwits we currently export internationally.

Dress shirts can be problematic if , say, you have a huge neck size (17" in my case) and normal length arms (34"). Handmade by Turnbull and Asser of Jermyn St, if price isn't a problem. They keep your pattern and you can just get extra shirts made in a variety of fabrics. However, any good gentleman's outfitters should stock ready to wear white dress shirts for a fraction of the price of bespoke.

Another vote for Mondaine and also this H3 military watch. The great thing about this is that when you're shitfaced late at night in some dark sleazy nightclub you can still see the luminous hands and numbers. It doesn't dim with time. Cheap too.

In descending order:
Boxer - The National
Neon Bible - Arcade Fire
Challengers - New Pornographers
Easy Tiger - Ryan Adams
not sure about the fifth choice....

Shave monthly, apply an alcohol-free moisurising after-shave balm to combat potential irritation. Voila...

Currently the W810i for me too. 18 months old now but I'm waiting for the iPhone release in November and then I'll probably upgrade in the new year.

Neal St. in Covent Garden is good for sporting footwear. The larger department stores: Selfridges, Liberty, Harvey Nicks carry the current season's designer togs. Clubwise - it's difficult to recommend without knowing what you like. Check out the listings guide Time Out when you arrive.

Don't dismiss the buprenophine (subutex) out of hand, it's a much better alternative to ling (methadone). Once the physical withdrawal is complete you'll have to replace the drugs, which have become the main focus of your life, with something else -which is the hardest part. Consider reviewing your friendships and perhaps relocate to some place where you're not connected.
Good luck with it, fella.

I love the Terra Plana products and am fortunate enough to work near to one of their shops. I bought these recently: http://shop.terraplana.com/shoe.aspx?ProductID=345
They look a lot nicer on than they do in the picture. They've also got a sale on at the mo, so some good bargains to be had.
