  1. I am temporarily broke until I get my money from school, so I'm selling some jeans that have been sitting in my closet. If they don't sell in the next two weeks or so, I'll no longer be broke so I'll probably just put them back in my closet.

First up is a pair of 45rpm charcoal dyed Jomon's in size 27. Brand new, only tried on. They're 1 size too small for me, (true waist = 30), but could possibly stretch.

    Asking: Sold

    Measurements:

    waist: 14.5

    rise: 10

    back 14

    thigh: 10.5

    knee: 8

    leg: 7.5

    inseam: 35.5

More pictures of these on the next post in this thread, also see oshen's here.

(please excuse the ugly carpeting in all the pictures)

Next up is a pair of Imperial Kings in a Black wash size 30. Also brand new, only tried on. Fit me fine if I wear them a little bit lower on the waist, but I prefer the cut of my dukes and never wear these.

    Asking: $110 shipped

    Measurements:

    waist: 15.75

    rise: 11.5

    back 14

    thigh: 12

    knee: 9

    leg: 9

    inseam: 36.5

Next is a pair of Jean Shop Black Rockers in size 28. Got these from gilt. Again brand new, only tried on. They fit, but the cut doesn't work at all with me; I think the thigh is too big for me.

    Asking: Sold

    Measurements:

    waist: 14.75

    rise: 10

    back 14

    thigh: 11.5

    knee: 8.75

    leg: 8

    inseam: 34.5

Finally is a pair of April 77 Cross in Transistor raw, size 28. I wore these for like 2 weeks and loved the cut and color, but the waist stretched a huge amount and I don't really like wearing belts so I haven't worn these for a long time. Not really any fading, just some wrinkles; maybe a tiny bit from wallet/cell phone and on the seams but hardly any. Comes with the pick.

    Asking: $Sold.

    Measurements:

    waist: 16.75

    rise: 10

    back 14.5

    thigh: 10.5

    knee: 8

    leg: 7

    inseam: 33.5

Let me know if you have any questions on anything or want any other pictures/measurements or anything (although I only have my crappy 5 year old point-and-shoot camera right now).

  2. Just ordered a pair of these. Can't wait to see them in person, I've already fallen in love with the denim. I was just about start a different pair too, but I guess they can wait.

  3. the jeans look amazing, but I have a hard time believing some of the measurements. Are they actually correct?

I think I'd like to get a pair and join the contest, but I'm worried about the thigh measurement and also a little bit with the leg opening too since I'm not sure if I can pull off something <7".

Can you double check those measurements using the measuring guide here: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30&Itemid=41

    Thanks!

  4. +rep. This is absolutely amazing; he's my hero:

Dodson: Well... obviously we have a rapist in Lincoln Park. He's climbing in your windows, he's snatchin your people up, tryin to rape them. So ya'll need to hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your husband; cuz they rapin everybody out here.

News Lady: The attacker got lose and went out the upstairs window, but he did leave something behind.

Dodson: We got your t-shirt, you done left fingerprints and all - you are so dumb. You are really dumb. Fo real.

News Lady: Dodson says he's never seen the perp before, but he sends this warning:

Dodson: You don’t have to come and confess that you did it. We're looking for you. We, we gon find you. I’m letting you know now, so you can run and tell that... Homeboy.

Doing it for the Kids is a current exhibition put on by [re] design to showcase the latest, most innovative sustainable toy designs from around the globe. Among them, the Placenta Teddy Bear by designer Alex Green. A crafty alternative for those who don’t necessarily want to eat their baby’s placenta, but want to pay their respects to the life sustaining organ by turning it into a one-of-a-kind teddy bear. Green’s ‘Twin Teddy Kit’ ‘celebrates the unity of the infant, the mother and the placenta,’ and enables preparation of the placenta so it may be transformed into a teddy bear. The placenta must be cut in half and rubbed with sea salt to cure it. After it is dried out, it is treated with an emulsifying mixture of tannin and egg yolk to make it soft and pliable. Then, you craft it into a teddy bear.

  6. I'm still not sure if I'm in since I fear the (hip) flare; but it looks like price is $254, although it's possible changes can still be made.

    preorder link is here

you see the price after you add it to cart. I probably wouldn't order yet until we're given the go ahead though. If the price stands that's a pretty amazing deal, and even if it's not the final price Beatle and Gordon are still really good to us - so don't be hating.

*edit* too late by a minute; it's better that Beatle broke the good news anyways.

    Thanks Gordon! (and Beatle!)
