  1. greeneggs, can you ask her how much the waist etc stretched? love that color...

The waist stretched about 1.5-2 inches and is a bit loose now. The thighs hardly stretched at all and are still pretty tight on her. Not sure about other things, but I don't think they stretched too much.

  2. You're the best Gun, thanks for all your work and attention to detail. Even though I'm pretty busy right now and not posting much at all I still check this thread pretty regularly for your updates.

I'm still loving your jeans, and sometime in the future I'd love to pick up a pair made with the orange selvedge denim.

Best of luck with your operation and I can't wait to see what comes next.

  3. gf's somets, probably about 8 months total wear since she doesn't wear them in summer much. She should have taken off her boots, but oh well.

Also, you can't see it here, but the guys at selfedge did a great job on a major crotch blowout repair.

  4. Sorry it took me so long to get fit pics up. Took these over Thanksgiving break, so I guess about 3 months wear. Still very happy with them and I think they'll be pretty faded after a year.

Thanks for the great jeans Gun!

One last thing, the link on the artistdenimonline webpage doesn't redirect to the blog properly, so may want to fix that. And for what it's worth my jeans didn't change the water color at all when I soaked them in hot hot water for a few hours.

  5. This is a pair of Imperial Kings in a Black wash size 30. Brand new, only tried on; been sitting in my closet for quite a while now. Fit me fine if I wear them a little bit lower on the waist, but I prefer the cut of my dukes and never wear these.

  7. Just got my jeans and they are amazing. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics up this weekend. My pre-soak fit was about what other people's were. Definitely not too tight, sizing down 2 was good advice.

You can still pm me if you're pretty sure you want them and maybe I'll take them down.

Take advantage of me not making sure the "to 30" part actually fit on the thread title to score a good deal since I think a lot of people skip over this since they aren't size 27...

  9. ^ it's probably fine. If it smells then wash it, but otherwise leave it; so I wouldn't worry about it.

Imperial fades are so pretty, love the last few posts. But why is it that those ugly back pocket designs are always still present? No one seems to be able to wear them off.

I personally like the back pockets as far as non-blank back pockets go. You could always take them out by hand if you wanted, but when you wear them they don't think they stand out as much as they seem they would imo.
