  1. Alfas are back in north america in 2012, along with the cinquecento. on the plus side; alfas back in north america. on the negative side; they plan on building an alfa-badged suv/cuv :(

that and no plans for a next-gen brera, just the softop spider. though if it comes out looking anything like this... awesome.

  2. A liberal plank lecturing people on what they should find funny is fucking hilarious though.

this sums up anything I was going to say. Go back to complaining about how the popular girls won't fuck you haploid. You know, the ones that you're totally above anyways.

I didn't find stunt's picture funny, but it didn't bother me a whole lot either. He seems like he'd be pretty chill to hang with in real life anyways. You don't.

  3. show is garbage now, but still watch every once in a while. lol @ baldwin being serena's dad.

every time I see pictures of momsen, I think of all the issues the girl seems to have in real life. and i think about how many more weeks until she's legal, even though you know she's gonna crash and burn at least as badly as lohan.

and haters can hate, but blake's got breasts that even tell gravity to go fuck itself.

  4. I almost +rep'd Natse but don't want to ruin it.

Girl Scout cookies have gone to shit up here. They now just get Dare to make them, so they taste like the usual shit I could buy at any supermarket, but now they cost more. Fuck that.

  5. ^ see, this i agree with. the perfect example of why head blurring is needed.

hm i dont get it, he looks horrible in that picture. I've seen people look good in chambray, even though I'm biased into not liking it. 90% of the chambray fits on here look bad, he managed to find a way to look worse than them.

okay, the more i look at it, the more i notice small things; he said it's an xs yet those sleeves are still billowy, and the feminine curve of the shirt with the huge shoulders is really strange. dude must have a struggle every time he lifts that camera. the denim and shoes aren't my taste, but they fit decently and aren't really offensive. the uo-looking douche above is a way more fitting for the thread though.

  6. that was what i was getting at. there's at least a dozen members who are all interchangeably chambray/khaki. this is just the denim version. it's utterly boring and way too common, but that's it.

  7. other than the proportions being fucked (shirt's too long, the camera angle just makes it even worse), i don't see how that really belongs in here. it's boring typical hypebeast shit, but hardly "worst".

it's just another i'd scroll right past.

  8. I think papyrus is actually more of a threat these days; can't think of the last time I actually saw comic sans out in the world.

I hate that it's been raining heavily all day and hasn't seemed to let up once. Damn my broken umbrella.

  9. I've had really good experiences with Bird, but then again, I haven't been there in person.

The sizing always changing is what worries me. I was a 48 the first collection, a 46 for the last 3. Jeans have always been a 48 though. Even the Seconds line has variances; the M tank fits me fine, but the XS cut-sleeve just looked huge.

Was kinda happy that most stores had such a crappy buy, it saves me money. Then I checked Muoko's... :(

  10. fuck you td for seemingly always having issues with compromised cards and locking down my account. third time in a year.

and fuck you paypal for being such a slow moving piece of shit.

  11. shit, i forgot about Acuras. yes to RSX... and learn to drive stick so you can get a type-s. there's one down the street from me that's black on gold TE37's that looks awesome. Or hell, a TSX for the extra set of doors and the cheaper insurance.

  12. need ideas for new car

commuter car and much be decent in winter under 15k

so far i've looked at 2007 chargers (shit in winter and shit on gas), 2008ish lancers

I still say pass on the Charger man; it really is awful on the inside, and it's gonna suck gas. That and it's huge. Heading down the list on autotrader... you've got literally any B6 A4 to choose from (the 1.8t being the better choice), and a few B7's make it in. The problem with any BMW 3-series is it's going to be an E46; it might not have all the modern features you'd want. An E90 is just over the budget. You like the Mazda 6, right? The Fusion is really essentially that, and you could have a 2007 loaded model since they're taking a beating in the used market with the "new Ford" 2010 model out. The Fit is actually probably just as spacious as the current whip, and is apparently fun to drive, and gets awesome gas mileage. Infiniti G35's do make the cut, even a coupe or two. Completely skipped over Saab's before; a 9-3 would be newish, with a good engine, and a lot of parts are readily available at any GM place. Scions work. SUBARU! From VW you've got the newer Rabbit, or an older mkIV GTI, which would have a better engine than the shitty 5 cylinder they gave us for North American mkV's. a 2005+ S40 or any S60 for Volvo.

There was some ad for a brand new Kia Forte under $14k. Gotta say, Hyundai/Kia's warranties, it'd be hard to say no, and I know I'd rather drive the Forte than a Corolla or Civic. If you grabbed a used car and got the remainder of their warranty, that'd be handy.

I guess it all depends on if you want something that's hinting at some fun or different (any of the Germans, the Swedes, the G35, potentially a WRX), or if you want to be a bit more responsible. Given the latter option, I'd say the Fusion or Fit would be interesting.

Or, you know, fuck it... and buy the Silvia or Skyline that's floating around . Drive thrus are for suckers.

  13. all this talk reminds me that i still find it strange how many people seem to require pills of some sort on a regular basis. i have a few tylenol or advil a year. every house has a fully stocked medicine cabinet.

i guess now i see why everybody makes a big deal out of how much coverage their new jobs offer.

  14. So I heard this on the news last week and I've been thinking about it a lot... and I feel bad admitting that I don't agree with it, but I just don't think it's right:

    http://www.windsorstar.com/sports/Windsor+reaction+mixed+decision+allowing+girls+teams/2963844/story.html

I don't remember ever thinking having both sexes have their own teams during high school was discriminatory. Then again, I'm a guy so maybe that's why? I agree with what is said in the article; that the girls demanding they get to try out for the guys team are undermining their current girls teams, essentially saying they're not good enough. If it's all about equality, why is the boys team now essentially a co-ed, but the girls will remain girls-only?

I feel like it could be solved a lot easier; have a girls, boys, and co-ed team. Make a rule that the co-ed must be 50/50 unless there's a shortage from either side. Keeping the current labels of "boys" and "girls" isn't exactly accurate.

Plus, this has the potential to just continue getting ugly. If tryouts happen and no girl makes the team, accusations of discrimination are still possible.

...I think women's sports are recognized for their talent on their own these days. Hell, our women's hockey team played far better than our men's for the majority of the Olympics. I never knew it was such a huge issue for some people.

  15. Er, I'm pretty sure AW isn't talking about cigs judging from his post before that.

I haven't talked to my ex in nearly a month, which is the longest I can remember. Last I did was after dropping the last of her things off at her place (found them when I moved back in Feb). Nobody answered so I left the bag on her porch and called to tell her. After that I got the usual prying texts and haven't responded since. It was the right choice. I didn't give any warning about the day I'd actually drop it off, but by knocking and actually trying to hand the stuff off, I don't feel like a coward, instead of just leaving it in her mailbox, which was the suggestion I got from friends. Even though I ended up doing that anyways, I tried.

Still haven't got rid of her on FB either, even though I know I should. So I was a bit weirded out to get notified that she tagged her old, pretty-hot high school friends in pictures we took randomly at a club last week.
