@Fooleo considering it's only 13.5oz denim I'd say you'd probably be fine, they are shorts after all. I see dudes wearing heavier denim than that in very warm climates (the Indonesian kids are nuts) so you'd probably be good.

@Collin just out of curiosity what's your inseam length? 

@MasonAlexander I'm in the same predicament haha every time I see a solid full cut I get super itchy to try and throw one into my rotation, but having a small frame and not being very tall it seems to just make me seem shorter haha! 

That said, I do have a pair of Warehouse 1001's I've worn a couple times, might try to get those back into the lineup, especially now that it's going to start warming up....or you'll see them for sale in the market!

worn hard for a year or so, never washed it, but it got rained on HARD when I was in Reykjavik out for a night on the town.

Brixton hat: I've always been a fan of brixtons approach to things, got this from the snowboard/skate shop I worked at 10 years ago, worn it solid ever since

RGT Indigo Supply jacket: I've put some miles into this jacket, wore it on my trip to Iceland where it got rained on hard, otherwise its never seen water

Wilson Japan sweatshirt: probably my favourite piece of clothing, love this thing to death and have worn it non stop for almost 5 years now

Unbranded 21oz jeans: I hated these when I got them, but now I cant seem to wear anything else, they've softened up enough to be considered comfortable, they fit better than they ever have and are starting to show some nice wear, washed these when they were brand new to get the shrinking out of the way

Redwing Muleskinner Rangers: I'll be honest, I've babied these, didn't wear them when it was snowy, didn't want to wear them in the rain (I know I know they only look better) but they are my newest of 3 pairs of redwings and for some reason I wanted to delay the aging process, they're picking up tons of indigo now around the ankle and are starting to take on some character.

There's already a jewelry thread and it's mostly filled with high-fashion stuff, some of it is actually kinda cool.

This thread should be called Jewelry for Denim Heads, or something of that nature.  Because it seems that native american jewelry, Good Art, biker rings, etc.. all sort of fall under the category of "i'm really into my jeans but also like jewelry".

Hey, been absent for a while here but figured I would check in and saw all of this haha

I created the thread with the idea that people would be posting more along the lines of what the title said. I've recently taken to collecting Mexican souvenir rings, biker rings and other vintage jewellery (mostly rings, signets etc.) and I wanted to see what other denim heads had in terms of those items, however it seems that the Goro/native inspired stuff has taken over, which is a non-issue for me personally. Knowing there is an existing jewellery thread I wanted to create something a bit more specific, oh well...can't win them all

^ Depending on the fit you are after I would say size down one, or go TTS for a more relaxed fit. My 660's are TTS (29) for the most part and stretched out a shitload after the first wash, and have done so after each wash since.

The texture on this banner denim is out of this world, washing these 1001's on the reg. thanks to Aho and his success, this is wash and dry number two, inseam climbed up a bit which is never a bad thing for me (5'8) Probably the most comfortable jeans I own

that's a perfect fit on those 1001's, superflattering! that makes me eager to try a pair of 1001's, but unfortunately my body proportions are totally different from yours.

agreed 100% I feel like the 1001 is one of those cuts (much like the sugarcane 47') that looks good on pretty much everyone.

Nice trim fit there. Looks really good. Did you wear WH 800 before? I'd be interested to know how the two compare from a wearer's point of view if that's the case.

I have both 800's as well as 660's

The rise on these isn't quite as high as the 800's and I feel that they taper a tad less with a similar "slim" straight cut through the thigh (hope that helps somewhat)
