  1. amazing weather in chicago the past couple of days.

    here's me today.

great weather in Chicago today (figures.. the weather gets REALLY nice when its time for finals.. right before spring break).. this was taken when i got home from classes.

vintage military jacket (forgot where i got this.)

white tee over gray tee (not pictured)

nudie slim jim dry japan (day 3)

    jack ps

real old fred perry messenger on my back

    better shot of the jacket.

nice, i like how you pull off the converse, for some reason converse doesn't look right on me IMO but i do like seeing them fit right on other ppl, *thumbs up*

  2. ^ for grey jeans I would check out cheap monday, I know they do some colors but I dunno if grey is one of them. Also I think aa is coming out with colored jeans and I think I saw grey ones. I am not sure what your style is but grey is kind of an unusual color for jeans (as opposed to blue or black) so it may not get much wear, therefore it may not be wise to cough up $300 for a pair of greys unless you absolutely LOVE IT. Anyways I've ordered from LVR before and the shipping and import fees kills you, if you can get it in a store in the U.S. or call a Dior boutique directly you will save $50-$75 or so on a $300 the same pair of jeans bought from LVR. hope this helps

  3. there's a WHOLE thread on Dior jeans so I am pretty sure any question you post in there will be answered if not already. the tags on Dior jeans as far as I know do not distinguish 19cm (slimmer cut) from the 21 cm cut and it does not give the season (year it's made) info that Dior tops and dress pants have. hope this helps and check out the other thread!

  4. well..chinese kids in singa have nothing to do with me. i do what i felt the most comfortable. you have your own taste. and my Lad tee is also short. so it felt like my "BIG" buckle is hanging. i usually cover them..belt is just a tool for me to hold my pants up. and my name is "L" not "1" thx.

    +1 for being from Taiwan.

    -1 for rocking Dsquared.

like the fit but your wallet looks like a backwards hard-on, is this a good look?? (maybe this should be saved for chat ed.)

  5. off topic, but i hate people who list things buy it now for around a dollar, and mark the shipping up to 30 dollars just so their listing gets ahead when organized by price.

oh that's actually a violation, you can hate on the seller by reporting the listing to ebay and it'll be taken down

if i'm the seller, i'll get worried if there isn't a single bid for days, even if there might be plenty of watchers. early bids at least make you know that your item can actually sell.

REAL SELLERS remove the # of watchers view from the selling section of My eBay. DO IT, you'll be a better person for it and you won't be hating the people who are watching who'll never bid because you won't know they exist.

  6. alright I may risk being superbanned for this but here it goes:

Netflix'ed Marie Antoinette b/c my gf wanted to watch it again (she saw it in the movies w/o me a while ago). And strangely I liked it. ok so what's my punishment?

  7. anyone else think the nikki/jessica and her family storyline is really boring? luckily they dont focus much on that anymore

I'm with you on that, but they tie it to all the other characters so it has some value. BTW what do they mean it's "leading to the final chapters?" Is the show ending anytime soon? Oh well, if it does at least it stands to go out on a good note (unlike many other dramas these days that are hanging on life support... grey's, housewives.... not that I watch those anymore)

  8. I'm in Balitmore now. I'm a UMCP graduate. Anyone following the men's b-ball this year? I'm excited about the ACC tournament tommorow and the NCAA's (finally). Seems like not many people interested in a meet up, I'm also a noob so you're probably not interested in meeting me anyways :)

  9. That has to be the most elaborate and on-topic spam I've seen in a long while. Props.

^^ Tiranis states the truth. Get Luke Loser some REP ASAP! BTW I think I read an article somewhere that AA is being sold by it's perv owner and there is a chance that production may be taken overseas. Don't quote me on this shit but it may be true. Anyways if this happens then perhaps you can get back to reality and stop idolizing your tree-hugging roommates. and for the record, yes I own some AA and I think some of the styles are great and it holds up to my expectations which are nil.

As for the OP's topic, there are lots, in fact TONS of great replies already. If prices are too high, try to find a bargain. If you feel like a fraud in a piece of clothing, you probably shouldn't get it. If you need tough gear that will keep you warm while piloting a F-14, go to the same source as the USAF. This is America and there are more options for clothing ourselves than we even know of, as long as you are not a mindless consumer and can take care of your money well enough to support yourself during good times and bad then you should be fine.

On a side note, you know how "Style > fashion" or whatever. The same can be said that "overall health > big muscles." Think about that one.

  10. LandsEnd lite down vests are probably the cheapest and surprisingly very well fitting vest you can get. $30

    www.landsend.com

^^ definitely agree, down vests are very in and out at times, I wouldn't spend more than $100 on one unless you plan on wearing it everyday, and most of the time the coolest ones are the bright colors like green and red, and I don't think you want to wear a bright green vest most days in a season (your friends will find reasons to ditch you probably when they go somewhere cool).

anyways for $30 you can probably own a few colors and be ahead of the game, or go to a thrift store and pick up 5 of them for $30. down vests are one of those things that people throw out all the time (like trench coats) and are kind of vintage in itself so don't be an idiot and spend $500 to look like you are wearing a dirty "vintage" item, lastly make sure if you go the cheap route that you at least get "down feathers" filling and not "polyester". best,

  11. I love those Frye ones personally.

Probably gonna get myself a pair.:)

ditto, long as they're not too wide and if I can find a deal on them. they look like nice grunt boots for shitty weather in the city. thx for postin'

  12. been in a much better mood after 2 weeks of collegiate hell. So here's a goofy pic for old times sake

    Huge dome of hair

    Orisue Tee

    those jeans

Vans Prison Issue (i need to wear the shoes sitting on top of my closet more)

dude, you stack shoes exactly like how I do with my sneakers. must be an asian thing! ha

  13. All my scarfs are really long so I throw it over me like twice, pull it down past my collar bonez, tuck the access on my right in with the rest of the stuff, then I adjust it so the Dior label (all my scarfs are dior) is always showing, and thus everyone thinks that I have good taste and thus everyone impressed...

Sometimes, actually most of the time, I can get it so it doesn't look like I did this on purpose.

    Oh wow.

oh WOW is right, if you are serious.
