I own the only pair that was sent to the US....
Well, do I feel special, then... Would I be the only European owning a pair?

We just got the hand loomed STYLE ones at Self Edge..
So you're not carrying the real thing? It seems that the ones on BIG are sold out. Well, I live in The Netherlands anyway.

Strange low pocket in the back.
Now that you mention it... my wallet hurt my butt, sitting in the car yesterday. Revenge of the wallet, I guess.

Yep, the expensive ones, but they were so damn tempting, I just couldn't resist.

But I'm really happy with them and would be happy to show them to the world. I should buy a camera for that reason alone

You know these ones, with the handwoven denim, the cinchback and the stitched-on front pockets. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/hinoya/sc40060/
Can't take pictures myself at the moment, I'm sorry.

I just got the sc40600 through Parachutes. Quite a pair of jeans, if they still count as such!

Same here. I can't wait for my two Flathead shirts and my Sugarcane SC 40600!

That's what they all say, including the APC website itself. I have yet to find Woolite Black (or rather Woolite Dark Laundry Fabric Wash, the full name) here in The Netherlands though.

My black NS have stretched considerably.

And yes, I did that on my Rescues as well!

Should I get a 29 or a 30?
I sized down three on my black raw NS. They stretched a good deal, tight at first (some 4 weeks ago), comfortable now. Love 'em.

Just send an e-mail to [email protected]. Keep your English simple. This guy Mario (who doesn't speak English, or Italian, but translates his mails) is really easy to deal with, helpful and fast!

I'm wearing the SC40400N right now! I love them, very comfortable indeed. Can't stop feeling and looking at them. Worth every yen! Indeed, the ultimate in today's jeans I would say.

I have those as well, bought online. I also have a jeans jacket and a pair of 'workers pants' made from the same, somewhat lightweight denim (no selvage), but then outside out if yuo know what I mean, bought at the same time. Those three garments are the only ones by APC in my collection (and I have quite a few APC items) that are made in Japan, as far as I know.

Oh, they're still grooving? Haven't really followed them lately. I got my name from my dog, to be honest....

If I recall correctly, Shorters own version is quite different, but beautiful as well.
I'm addicted to those RVG editions. There are quite a few Shorter titels in that catalogue, and great other stuff as well.

Footprints is on Shorters very nice Adam's Apple, now available in an attractive Rudy Van Gelder-edition, and also on the recent Footprints Live-album.

Are these selvage? If not, they might be a pair of washed jeans from like five or six years ago, falling outside of the standard/new standard/english/rescue-categories. I have a pair of those.

I have those (as well), wat do you want to know? They are mud dyed rather than mud stained, I would say. I wouldn't wear those walking the dog in the park after a rainy day... but they are really nice.
