I recently sold my MF Road Champs because of the heel slippage.

Is it always to be expected in engineer boots or do I need to search for another brand/model?

I have fairly thin ankles and legs so I'm probably looking for an engineer boot with thin shafts? 

Any suggestions? Preferably a black leather that fades to brown and soft toe.

I went one size up in this jacket (usually a 36, went for a 38)

its the older oversized batch; I sized down three on this pair (i usually size down one to size 29; these are a 27)

the newer batch I'd prolly get a size 29 going by measurements

did you size TTS? I usually size down one or two in Warehouse denim.

I think it looks fine as a relaxed fit but if that's not what you are looking for then better check out the 660's

I'm also tempted by the 800's but the fit pictures on different Rakuten shops are remarkably different.

There's a shop that shows the fit sized down or TTS and oversized. Overall they look a lot slimmer than your pair.

denim Warehouse 800 = Warehouse 660?

does anyone know the difference between the 660's and the dubble works 332; I checked my pair of 660's and the measurements seem the same as the 332. I guess the denim used on the 332 is not the 1000xx denim? I'm tempted to pick up a pair since they are pretty cheap
