  1. I looked at a room in Clerkenwell for £320 a month all in. Granted it was a small room, with a small window, but it was a nice flat, nice ppl (english all first language) and great location (ie. not a shit hole). £320 for zone 1/central is v reasonable.

When you say small do you mean only big enough for a single bed?

  2. Went over to Perth a couple months back for a job assessment and had some time to wander around the city and was really surprised at how much better than Adelaide it was lol... Stumbled across Wasteland on King's St. and again was taken back by the labels they stocked as well as the art related gear. Store assistant recommended this coffee joint around the corner called Tiger Tiger I think and it was one of the best coffees I had.

Looking at all the other shops posted here, I'm pretty keen to explore the city some more when I head over there next year. Just a bit unsure about the living expenses especially accomodation. Heard it was almost as bad as Sydney :(

Tiger's is nice and chilled place, next time your here try velvet coffee on king, so smooth and full of flavour.

As for living expenses I moved here from Brisbane 5 months ago, the rent is shit. I was paying 150 a week for a place in the valley in Brisbane next to the city, here I pay 160 and its a few suburbs out. I hear its from all the miners being able to push the rents up to high. My current landlord had someone who offered to pay a years worth of rent in advance and he was a miner. Don't think it would be as bad as sydney though, you can find a nice one bedroom at east perth, practically in the city for around 225 a week.

  3. Yeh you could do the root and boot. If shes not good at the first then give her the second.

Been in a similar situation, met a girl really hot, nice personality then when she got up to walk she had a limp leg. But still really nice person and had a bf so worked out better as a friend.

  4. Is it possible to get a well cut business suit for less than 250 pound? I'm looking for something that I can wear to an interview. I'm coming from Australia so I'm thinking I may have to get one before I come over because our currency converts to peanuts!

  5. Need to buy a pair of indigo dry selvedge jeans that get great honeycombs over time. Was thinking of spending up to $250 AUD with a looser cut like RRDS. So far I'm thinking:

    Nudie RRDS

    APC

    Any other recommendations?

Kinda leaning away from Nudie as they are so popular, and I plan to make this my next project jean.

    Other recommendations would be appreciated.
